安全性能有很大关联，有一部分研究者实际上也是这样想的。总结一下，正如NHTSA假
设的三点（图1）：一是车顶强度（SWR值大小）与翻车时乘员伤势程度有关，二是翻车
时车顶形变与翻车时乘员伤势程度有关，三是车顶强度（SWR值大小）与翻车时车顶形
变有关。可以看出，在这个关系中，SWR是“因”。所以基于以上假设，就有了车顶强
度静态测试这种间接的评价方式。在这类测试中，最知名的应该是IIHS的roof
strength test。除此之外，NHTSA也做过类似的测试研究。
这种静态测试，主要考查的是材料本身的力学性能，跟那种材料拉伸压缩实验有相似性
。从这个角度来看，车顶强度静态测试曲线跟塑性材料应力-应变曲线也有对应的相似

This apartment is on a higher floor with partly Manhattan view. Both bedroom
and living room are south exposure with big windows and have a lot of sun
