tube in which you can actively play with the air pressure. Most designs,
including Musk’s Hyperloop, call for lowering the air pressure inside the
tube. The question is, how low do you have to go? Getting the tube down to
and then maintaining ever lower pressures is hard. The stronger the vacuum
the more aggressively outside air seeks to break that vacuum.
