NT was meant to for Windows NT and XP is just one of the Windows NT OS.
btw, cvsnt is now ported to many other systems than NT. |

用的是以前折腾机器剩下的配件。另外hack了vista64可以多用户remote desktop.
E2140 ＋ DFI P965S黑板 + fanless 8500GT + 4x1GB DDR2 + 1T/500G/250G
variable speed fan的噪音不大，放电视边上不太听出来。不足是功耗因为4条内存+
三个硬盘稍大点，当然P965也不是省油的灯。。。静态120W，全速180W。好处是功能
强大，上百个job, 2MB/s emule的时候还能放高清电影，一天最多下过400集电视剧。
有两点曾经很关注，可是长期使用以来发现并没有想象的重要：
1. 网卡是千兆的，可是从来没用过。因为其他PC都是wireless的802.11g。通过shared
folder看电影目前没有过网速的问题。不过我不用这个机器对别的PC做备份，最多
是做cvsnt server管理文档，对带宽要求不高。
2. 因为功耗的问题放弃了24x7开机。可实用当中并没有觉得通过网络唤醒有太多 |

请问哪位DX用过CVS?
我在用CVSNT和TortoiseCVS
特别是在bea weblogic8.1的workshop上
现在workshop上没有cvs edit和cvs unedit菜单项
我已经在TortoiseCVS设置了watch on
在资源管理器上有了edit和unedit菜单项
如果没有这二项
那怎么lock我在编辑的文件呢?
否则大家一起来
不是乱套了?

CVS: C stands for "Concurrent" :-) You must have used VSS before, CVS
doesn't require user to lock the file in order to edit, in fact, it encourges
user to edit the same file at the same time. Just make sure before committing
your changes, do update first, it will automatically merge (very good) the
changes if your version of file is out of date, otherwise, it will report
conflicts and prevents you to commit until you resolve the conflicts. I don't
recommend to use CVSNT, it is not stable a |

CVS客户端用TortoiseCVS
在资源管理器里都行了
现在我要在Jbuilder里配置
在JBuilder的菜单Team->Configure CVS的窗口中
CVS服务器的各参数设置项都是灰的
不能编辑
与我用的Jbuilder是Trial版有关？
或是我没找到正确的地方？

cvsnt is cute. I used it once. but anyway I feel mot very safe since the
server is also a NT server though i do think it should be straightforward to
connect to a linux server. |
