望，最后都不忍心再看他们的球赛了。今年家里的cable坏了，因为也没有节目一定要
看，就一直让它那么坏着，所以一场球赛没看。
今天早上起床，浏览了一下十大标题，看有人在讨论即将到来的圣母巴马大战，颇为奇
怪，一查，赫然发现，notre dame今年居然一场未败，排名全国第一，开了年要去打冠
军碗。粉大特啊，这十几年的球迷算是白当了，最激动人心的一年竟然这样被我错过了！
求包子安慰。
你们说notre dame今年打这么牛叉，跟我没有看是不是有点关系啊？版上还有没有nd的
球迷，是不是考虑给我发点包子啊，我在考虑明年继续不看notre dame football。

看来今年1月没给自己订任何新年读书计划非常明智。
Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close 几乎浇灭了阅读的小火苗，读到100页弃了。真
的不对路子。今年不到5个月，弃了两本小说了，对我来说，挺多的已经。
接下来读的这本Half-Blood Blues，目前读到一半，这周无论如何要看完了，McCarthy
已经等不及了。
去年加拿大（是的，北面的也有人写书，除了Atwood以外）有两个年轻作家的作品比较
引人注目，其中一位 黑人女作家 Esi Edugyan 的 Half-Blood Blues 还进入了几个奖
项的最终名单，包括布克奖的短名单。目前为止，故事发生在1939年纳粹阴影下的柏林
和巴黎，一个爵士乐团和一位爵士女演唱者之间的友谊与爱情，忠诚与背叛。也是我第
一次接触音乐背景的小说。
小说语言特色鲜明，因为第一人称“我”本人既是Baltimore来的黑人，所以不仅人物
对话，包括叙述都是黑人英语，读起来很新鲜，很俏皮。其实用带有族裔色彩的英语写

下，算上CIVIL的才22个FACULTY,ME这种专业，CIT的1个FACULTY还真就不能说能顶一般
学校的2个faculty。由此ME被排到了95还真挺合理的。
再看USNEWS, ME排在第3位！！！我怎么觉得USNEWS突然非常不靠谱！！

Schaumburg, IL. - Illinois State Police said a drunken 33-year-old man
wearing a diaper was arrested for shouting profanities. Police said Wind
DaMee of Schaumburg, Il., was arrested about 9:15 p.m. Sunday and charged
with disorderly conduct.
Police said witnesses reported DaMee cursed at adults and children in the
Fox Chapel neighborhood of Schaumburg City as he tried to get them to give
him candy.

quarterbacks in the last game (one is Arnaz Battle who switched to WR later
and became a really good one) because our starting qb Jarious Jackson was
injured in an unnecessary last play in the previous game against LSU. We
could end up with 10-1 and play a BCS game.
BTW, maybe they beat us 8 times in a row, but we have beaten them 11
straight times before:

名是分开来的，我们这儿高中生谈大学好坏，都是用的US World News排名,从没人提过
这个Forbes排名。录取率和yield rate是本科生质量最重要的指标，说明学生更愿意去
哪个学校，也说明上这个学校的难度。从来没听说Notre Dame比Chicago强的。录取率
上，Notre Dame比Chicago容易了1倍半，科研，诺贝尔奖数量更是差的太远，Notre
Dame比起来算个啥啊。 |

名是分开来的，我们这儿高中生谈大学好坏，都是用的US World News排名,从没人提过
这个Forbes排名。录取率和yield rate是本科生质量最重要的指标，说明学生更愿意去
哪个学校，也说明上这个学校的难度。从来没听说Notre Dame比Chicago强的。录取率
上，Notre Dame比Chicago容易了1倍半，科研，诺贝尔奖数量更是差的太远，Notre
Dame比起来算个啥啊。 |

里昂位于法国东南部，历史悠久，在罗马时代就相当繁荣，1998年被联合国教科文组织
列为世界人文遗产城市。里昂分为旧城和新城，旧城在索恩河右岸，罗纳 河和索恩河
从城中流过，河上架有20多座桥梁；老城区与古老的宗教历史颇有渊源，其中圣让首席
大教堂已有近千年历史，兼具罗曼和哥特式风格，令人回味。全 市共有21个博物馆，
以美术博物馆、纺织博物馆（里昂曾为全欧洲最重要的丝绸产地）和装饰艺术博物馆最
为著名，因此也有“文化城”之称。 [1]
其实里昂能看的景点蛮多的，但因为我们只在里昂停留一整天，所以也就走马观花的看
了个皮毛。 回想起来，里昂还是蛮漂亮的，花上一整天的时间好好看看这座城市还是
非常值得的，而在里昂的第2天早上，在fourviere hill上面俯览里昂全城，真有一种
不想离开这座城市的愿望。
建议大家去里昂的话，一定要去fourviere hill上面看看里昂全城，那个地方开车能上
去的，也有停车的地方。走的话，因为都是上坡，稍微麻烦一点，然后再在Saone
river周围转转，看看里昂的建筑。

今天上午学校的学生服务中心接到当地一个女性组织的电话，说当地电视台今晚有个活
动，需要两位亚裔dames参与一些接待活动，但需要法语说得挺好，结果找不到两位
dames，只好把偶这个monsieur给拽上了。中午见了那个女性组织的人，说这个活动跟亚
洲文化有点关系，所以想找两个亚裔的女性。言谈中还得知她父亲是中国人，并给了偶
一张名片，上面的性是Fong，看来不假(但估计是粤语的拼法)，当然长得也像有亚裔血
统的。傍晚17:30和偶们另一个女同胞赶到与会现场，得知主要任务就是给每个来的dame
的手腕上戴一夺花。于是乎就给陆陆续续来的女士们戴花。几乎所有的女士们都问我这
是什么花，可惜偶不知道，问另几个负责接待的当地人，也不知道。这是一种红色的花，
中间有一个长长的像花蕾似的东西，据说原产于偶们故国。这当中看到许多人跟电视台
的几个名主持人照相，那几个主持人也跟偶们打了招呼。可惜偶已过了追星的年龄，要
不也可以要求根他们照个像，然后就可以骗骗当地的小姑娘了。到了19:30分，所有人都
进场了，偶们的花也分完了，偶们就完成任务回来了。 |

权威杂志《符号逻辑期刊》”这个西塔潘猜想大概就是文章最后提了四个小问题。
百度上还说“刘路(又名刘嘉忆)突然想到利用之前用到的一个方法稍作修改便可以证明
这一结论，连夜将这一证明写出来，投给了数理逻辑国际权威杂志《符号逻辑杂志》，

The decision of Louisville coach Bobby Petrino to leave for the NFL could
affect Notre Dame's recruiting efforts.
The Irish recently became involved with Findlay, Ohio kicker Brandon Walker,

has re-opened his recruitment after earlier committing to Louisville.
