Take a look at slavik's basics (in his series of Dancing Basics with Passion
). He looks nice and easy. His basics is the best!
Honestly, yulia's latin basics is not super if you only look at basics (
honestly my teacher's basics is stronger). The first time I watched her in
manhattan dancesport (back in 2007?), somebody told me that her weakness was

latin半决赛12选6，我选的6个中5个进了决赛 （我不知道他们是谁，除了我的group课
老师）。 当时没有地方记录选手背上的号，就写在一个装果汁的瓶子上。不信wu175可
以作证。后来看了professional latin，我一一评价 finalists，我老师之一（以前的
blackpool finalist/semifinalist) 听完大吃一惊，说没想到我看得那么准。
另外，每年的manhattan Dancesport，manhattan amateur classic 我基本看现场比赛
。 还有IDSF在纽约的比赛，我是volunteer （感谢cfish的内部消息)，在门口收票，
舞界名人从我面前一一走过。后来作为工作人员，在场边最佳位置观看Semifinal 和
final。怎么能叫在家里电脑上看呢。每次我选的finalists大都进了final。 当然我的
最后排名跟场上judges略有不同，我也不稀罕跟那些老裁判们一模一样，他们老了眼光

了新招，每一轮的5 dances里面有一个必须得跳basics。 你就看到所有的top dancers
都在跳 alemana，hockey stick，opening out什么的。 dancesport.ru在youtube上
贴出一些clips，其中有joanna and michael， yulia and riccardo 跳rumba basics
。 立刻有人眼尖，看到不少technique问题， 指出joanna 和michael的问题， 还有人
指出yulia的问题。 他们都说到点子上了。 结果，很快这个clip就被撤掉了。我完全
没有料到，不然当时就存下来了。
作为花絮，那一场比赛yulia和riccardo打败joanna 和michael， 拿了world champion
。 joanna他俩一脸没好气。也不祝贺no.1 couple, michael还把奖杯放到地上。 颁奖完，照例有winner‘s dance，yulia他俩跳了一段后， 组织者示意... 阅读全帖 |

member on this board for a while. I believe I have the stronest background to
for this position. I am a classically trained ballet dancer, and I am also a
competitive ballroom/latin dancer. i have been dancing for many years, and i
am current the ASU dancesport team coach. I have access to many information
and people, and I believe i will be able to make the dance board the biggest
sport board on this site.

drop in一两节课就什么都知道了，不过现在暑期是淡季，上课的人应该不会很多。
感觉Elan dancesport center那里亚洲人和华人都挺多的，Chevy Chase ballroom
那边可能老美更多。 |
