猜杏子的最靠近,但它不是杏子,它是 Pluot.
Pluot是近十年来美国所培养的少数专利水果之一. 它是 Plum和Apricot混出来的新品
种. Pluot是通称,详细分还有 Flavor King, Flavor Queen, Flavor Supreme, 及
Dapple Dandy等等. 由於不同品种的plum和apricot混交,所以各种pluot的外形差异很
大.我吃过的几种,都好吃. 商业大量种值是近几年的事.超市里近两三年已有在卖,但超
市的摘早了,没有它应有的味道.老中把它取名--恐龙蛋. |

一下种了8种, 几乎把所有的pluot种全了. 你铁定爱S这个了.
我只有一棵pluot, 但上头有Flavor King, Flavor Queen, Flavor Supreme及Dapple
Dandy 四个品种. 树种了好多年了, 最大的问题是产量不高.
不知你这些树种了几年, 产量如何? |

求高, 南加苗圃大都没有. Pluot是较新的专利品种, 很好吃. 在pluot里, 我推荐
Flavor King, Flavor Supreme, 或Dapple Dandy. 对了, 这些都要异花传粉(可嫁接
几枝Santa Rosa Plum在其上). |

日本枫树有很多品种颜色。 叶子的颜色和日照温度，品种有很大关系。
一般来说日本枫树喜阴，夏天日照过长会焦叶。
枫树也一般不需要特别care。 尤其是stressed tree 更不要上肥， 看看是不是有虫或
生病。
你提到有苔藓和长蘑菇， 看看土壤的透水是不是不好。 如果不好的话， 就不要勤浇
水了。加些沙和compost在土里。
总结一下
Japanese Maples need:
Dappled or afternoon shade, especially when young
Protection from strong wind
Well-drained, consistently moist soil, neither excessively wet nor dry
Protection from late spring frosts, especially when young |
