当我坐在eglin空军基地的军官俱乐部里喝下午茶的时候,我被三个穿着飞行装依靠着吧台
,举止滑稽的飞行员弄得很烦.其中的一个身材高大家伙,一头深栗色的卷发,嘴上吊着一支
雪茄正在那儿大声地说着什么.他总是习惯性的用手势来加重他的语气,旁若无人.
于是我回头对着邀请我来的上校,这儿的项目发展主任调侃道:"那个家伙显然以为他自己
是全世界最红的老鸟".
"他叫John Boyd,或许能算是这儿最红的飞行员吧,你该和他认识一下."
虽然我实在是没兴趣和喜欢炫耀的家伙多接触,但在主人的坚持下我还是走了过去.他显然
