一般的问题都是你在哪里得到这个数据，如果处理这个数据的。
我就我仅有的一点点经验是这样说的： 我从网上download数据，用excel或者是proc
sql进行处理，例如merge，delete， insert，clean missing data， 然后创造data
sets。
有两个面试都是涉及data management，他们用到的data analysis都比较少。而我基本
上没有接触过data management，都是data analysis，搞的我很迷茫啊。
请问他们问这类题的目的在哪里，他们想要的data management的经验是什么呢？
data management的范围太广，网上查了查，也没有啥资料是可以让我系统的学习的，
我从哪里开始学点啥，哪些是我必须知道的呢？

我的感觉是传统统计比是有数理基础，我见过理论统计学家连计算机都没碰过的。从这
一点上靠近经济学模型多一些。
data science似乎更多的基于cs和engineering的一些过程，用optimization的多一些。
虽说两种都需要business sense,但是传统统计模型需要一些比较明确的假设，也就是
data model需要的东西，一般情况结果会支持或者反对最初的假设，通常需要建立
causal relationship. 但是data science 的模型可以没有这些东西，结果是主要的。
以我做的predictive model来说，我的模型中变量选入需要有临床依据，结果出来需要
和临床知识做个对比。但是data scientist做的东西只需要解释input和output,不用解
释how and why,有点black box的感觉。
我的理解是有些问题上明显是传统统计的应用靠铺一些，比如诸类社会科学研究和商业
界基于知识背景的研究。但是某些模型，金融中的一部分问题，自然科学类，比如预测

2. 有些plan，例如当下mad plan里的mad fert，显示overage $5 cent
除了 voice $5cent/min以外，那data overage怎么算？
漫游下通话14cent/min，data 55cent/mb，短信扣套餐
3. mad plan的unlimited plan里，data overage显示$15/GB，
是按per MB扣钱还是一旦data overage就直接扣$15作为deposit，
然后按实际用量再从$15刀里扣？
超出套餐数据用量直接扣$15,超过1G再扣$15。

我们有个verizon的family plan马上要散伙了，里面有两个号是grandfathered
unlimited data plan，平时出差比较有用，甚至放在家里或办公室当路由器都可以。
因为现在这种data service已经买不到了，直接取消挺可惜的，几个人一商量，觉得可
以转让给需要的人。需要的过户手续，这个可以到verizon大厅或者客服电话里办，应
该不难。
plan共有700 free minutes，现在5个号码，3个有data plan，2个没有data plan，总
共花费大概是60(basic charge)+30 (with data service)*3+10 (without data
service)*2+tax+other大概总共每个月200刀。当然了你可以选择去掉几个号码。

一直从事 SAP customer master data, material master data 的工作， 但主要是
技术含量不高的 data entry , 作为master data team 的代表也参与过一些
projects.
对 SAP customer master data , material master data 的 框架structure 很熟，也
有 order to cash 的检验。
投了几个公司，看工作描述还是很接近了，但是没有任何回音啊！
我看有些招 senior consultant ， 我能胜任不？ 看那些要求好高的样子，实在不
想再做data entry 的工作了， 觉得自己越来越像个机器人。

发帖数: 534 | 40 我们的手机是Iphone，前几个月加了条Family Line给妈妈用，讲好不要Data Plan的，
ATT 店里的人告诉我们可以随便拿一个Free的手机，然后换SIM card到解码的Iphone上
，只用WiFi就好了。正好LD有一个解码的老Iphone，于是就这么干了。
结果从一开始账单就没有对过，这个新号码每个月都收我们30刀Data Plan，我打电话
加了Data Block，但是系统自动取消，然后加回Data Plan，现在ATT的客服告诉我们，
只要我们用了Iphone, 不管是不是解码的， 也不管是不是只用Wifi的， 就自动收取
Data Fee.
他们的系统好像能看到我用什么手机。 有什么办法可以避免这个Data Fee，当初如果
愿意再付一个Data Fee，本来就可以拿免费的老版Iphone。主要是妈妈真的用不着这个
Data Plan，而放着Iphone不用，去用一个加Plan时给的普通电话觉得太亏了。 ATT真
是强买强卖。

1) prophet finance (paid) (up to half year intraday data - the data quality
is not very good, but my system already has an adapter to get their feed, so
I am lazy to change that)
2) Ameritrade (kind of free) (20 days intraday data, data feed is fastest,
this my default daily data feed)
3) IB (as back up) (1 year intraday data, but really slow if you have
hundreds of symbols to download). I also had their premimum service b4, but
found no data quality improvement, so I |

如果我没看错的话，这个表格已经不对了。
这个上面所有的limitation都是指你一次可以download多少data，
也就是执行一次reqHistoricalData的上限。
但可以循环多次执行，我试过option和stock均可以从2010年1月开始，更早应该也可以
，我没有试过。
这里面的1s的data，表格上写上限是1800，半小时，实际上我测试过10000秒没有问题
。这样一天的1 sec data，用三次循环就可以。
另外，60秒内不可以执行超过6次request。所以每执行一次，需要sleep（10）。
同一个contract也不能短时间内多次request。
BTW，1min的data质量马马虎虎，有缺分钟的。IB毕竟不帮你clean data。

demand data 是制定排期的国务院发布的。inventory 是USCIS发布的。
demand data 包含的是所有等待 visa number 的请求数。EB 绿卡中，I-485 AOS 的部
分是 USCIS 处理的。根据两个机构之间的协议，只有 USCIS 将申请基本处理完毕时，
向 DOS 请求一个 visa number，DOS 同意后，绿卡方可审批。也就是说，在 I-485
filing 的开始阶段，DOS 是无从得知有多少人提交了申请的。EB 绿卡中的另外一部分
CP，是由 DOS 自己的下属机构 NVC 处理的。这部分人数 DOS 其实是知道的，但排期
不到不会进行移民签证 interview，也不会请求 visa number。在海外使领馆请求
visa number 后排期又发生了倒退的情况下，有关请求才会计入 demand data。由此可
见，demand data 包含的是 I-485 preadjusticated 的和进行了移民签证面谈但排期
