标 题: AA CITI EXT 200 bonus 的datapoint

一共有两张卡, 分别是去年1月底和2月中旬开卡. 1月的账单日是6号, 2月的是中旬.
在6号的时候账单余额是1000多刀, post了如下的bonus:

这张卡的第一个账单是14年2月6号post的

昨天买了张500 的vgc，买完就去walmart 冲。之前已经冲了好多次了，change
payment 方法
昨天有点蹊跷
按完了change payment， 切换界面，居然直接跳到了签名界面。我很肯定我是在挑出
了的第一时间按下的。同时小二还和我说，you can not use this way to load your
card. 也不知道她按了什么。然后就怂恿我去atm冲。那个atm坏了很久了，一听修好了
，特别乐。结果是9pin大法呀呀。
换了一个小二，试了2次，才成功。其中也是有一次按了change payment 切换界面，仍
然跳到了签名的界面。
难道walmart 的系统又更新了？ 已经冲了几十次了，第一次遇到的这样的问题。
反正是冲进去了，也给大家一个datapoint |

tax regime change, spending level etc, especially something fundamental, if
done in a short period of time, will rock the system, as you said a death
spiral. But there is something called "gliding path" or "phase in".
Essentially, cap fed tax revenue to 20% GDP, slowly increase tax on asset,
and decrease tax on income. How long it takes? For reference, S-B's proposal
on SS reform will take about 60 years.

1 title好看了，无论是出去作报告，还是声请funding
2 有养老金match了吧，很多postdoc是没有的
3 如果想回国，你就算是海归的faculty了
4 工资可能会高一些吧。
可能是不足的地方：
1 地方偏南
2 如果你是做bench的，新环境可能需要一段时间适应
最后给个datapoint，research faculty。
老板非常支持独立，但感觉是希望以后大家实验室还在一块儿。
工资是做postdoc的两倍多，6位数。做postdoc的时候salary已经超过NIH标准了。
老板在临床，时间我自己说了算。
课题老板愿意听我的，不固执。
发文章，大文章他通讯，小文章我和他一起通讯。
我老板不是大牛，我也不是做bench的。 |

是在walmart买的MO （我这边safeway的MO只能用现金不能刷卡）
visa的识别为借记卡，甚至还能cashback，最多100刀 （顺便问这时候如果选了
cashback，有手续费么？）
master gc 死活刷不过。。。虽然上面写了大大的debit，而且也是有pin的。。。
刷完之后闪过一个让签名的框然后秒退，但是收银员那边就报错说刷不过了
不是vanilla， 就是普通master gift card
另外提供个datapoint，沃尔玛小哥说随便刷多少张卡，拆成任意金额付 |

Datapoint...a friend just got 'owned' by Barclays (so to speak). His app was
denied in January due to the citizenship clause, and now that they changed
it, he called in to have his app reconsidered -- with the impression they
will simply pull TU again. But the rep ended up pulling both TU and Experian
! He was very much trying to avoid any hits on Experian for a few months, so

Just confirmed this with my friend. He applied by using 2BM on Alaska card
last Thursday and has already got the initial 25k*2 posted to his Alaska
acct. I didn't do it cuz of too many HPs this year.
If you have solid credit score, go for it (still alive). 100k miles from 75*
2 AF sounds pretty good, especially when they can be redeemed for partner
airlines (DL, AA, etc). He told me one could redeem alaska miles for
partners online, not even requiring to call reservation line.

就行.(上个星期刚load 1K).
但今天去money center那边冲，遇到个小儿，一听说我要冲蓝鸟，就问我是不是那种
gift card,还要我的过来看，说现在规定不能用gift card充了(中部农村，消息估计传
递延迟）.然后我就先走了。
后来不甘心，又买了点东西去正常的check out line那边冲，那边的小儿倒是没懂，让
我冲了，
结果正想准备cancel大法(黑白屏幕),但是程序结束好快（跟money center那边的POS机
比），根本来不及点cancel(触屏？）.所以试了两次都失败了，最后只能走了。
LZ现在还有两张灰香草，但有张信用卡还有消费任务（就是AA那张），想问版上的各位
支个招.听听意见.
1.还有家walmart可以去试试，就不知道是不是所有walmart都这样了，包括同一家还可
以去试试，换个小儿，但我感觉希望有点渺茫.
2.灰香草能在AP上cash out吗？我记得有人说过，但具体怎么操作啊，风险大不大?

for the Cashier"..."Cancel"等字样，
当你看到后，立马用笔猛戳Cancel,随后你到达另一个界面，选择No cash back, 然后
debit/ATM
最后输入Pin码，就行了.
我今天遇到的情况就是Cancel消失的好快，根本来不及... |
