teacher told me that he can go to G-1, but I decided to pull him back one
year (he was Nov birthday). Then in the whole G-K public school, teacher
called me frequently telling me my son is daydreaming, had a short term

daydreaming，不follow instructions。她今年秋天也上K，现在已经报了公校的K。也
有人建议我让她上私立小学。但我目前尚体会不到私校的好处。
孩子目前上的就是私立的蒙校，3-6岁混合班。已经上了半年，但我觉得她在阅读和数
学上进步非常小。据她的老师说，教她的时候她小动作多，东摸摸西摸摸，老师认为如
果她不能安静地坐着听讲，那么她就不ready，因此就不太教她。她以前上普通daycare
，老师都说她聪明。到了蒙校反而negative feedback多了。而且老师还振振有词，我
们崇尚的是个体化教学，不像别的学校一刀切，你坐不定，你就不ready，我们也不
push你。
所以目前我还是倾向于让她上公立。也想听听大家的意见和建议。 |

大家只是建议去测试一下吧？已经有两个父母提到daydreaming了。（我接触过不少注
意力不集中的小孩，但是那个字让我只想起上面提的那个小孩。）小孩没有根本的问题
当然最好，否则就要赶紧想办法帮助小孩尽快改善。家长也可以自己做些测试，弄些有
challenge的东西给小孩做，看小孩是否还是注意力集中了。
有个与我老婆很熟悉的人有个极其聪明的小孩。那个小孩在被判定有AD的问题后，被送
进了special program。医生甚至给小孩开了药（但是没有去吃）。那个小孩数学水平
是周围同学们没法比的（竞赛多次得奖）。有几年我都听到她们谈这方面的事，还有那
个小孩做过一些很不寻常的事，不得学校老师喜欢。后来基本上好了。 |

First of all, "daydreaming" could be something trivial that the kid will
simply outgrow it. BUT, it could also mean short attention span, impaired
short-term memory, or even worse, a learning disability, that will affect
the kid in the long run. Without a full evaluation, nobody can tell the
nature of the problem. Entering a private school doesn't solve the problem.

发帖数: 1465 | 6 这个注意力的问题我觉得很值得商榷。我小时候上兴趣班是家长陪着去的。我妈当时说
看我老在看桌子底下搞小动作，但是老师叫我回答问题什么的我又能答上来。其实我当
时根本就没开小差。只是听课靠的是听，不是非得盯着老师看的。反倒是上了中学，总
是一边盯着老师看一边走神。所以这个daydreaming有可能根本不是问题。还是请专家
评估一下算了。另外你也可以自己参与一下孩子的课堂或评估看看是不是我说的这种情

比如昨天公园里玩+picnic，玩了孩子们吵着要划船，我说好。老公就觉得那会儿孩子
们都累了，而且没带防晒霜（沿着小溪划，两边有不少树荫的），坚持带孩子们回家。
休息好了抹了防晒霜再出来划船。我的性格是喜欢玩得尽兴，难得一次，累一点就累一
点咯。 |

我每次打电话回家，感觉我父母没有孙辈在身边也挺寂寞的，漫长时间不知道如何打发

老公坚持全家一起回，那就费那么大折腾刚倒个时差就得回。还得候着孩子学校的假期。
我爸妈心疼孩子们，怕他们这样太辛苦，太折腾。他们也觉得好容易盼星星盼月亮盼来
团聚，就那么几天，希望和失望的落差太大。
但是如果我公差带回去把孩子在我父母那儿放几周（我已经妥协到从两个月变成两三周
了，搭上我在孩子身边的时间能有一个半月），老公还是不放心，
去年为这事我们十几年来第一次吵架，今年不想再重复了。 |

小的时候就跟我说：“你以后有了小家庭就分开住，两代人住一起互相干扰，不好。”
我老公跟老爸的生活习惯不合拍，所以我爸很有自知之明，用他的话说是“不到你们的
屋檐下来当主人。”去年他心脏有点不好，医生也不建议长途坐飞机。（不是心脏病，
就是家族遗传的隐患。在国内他经常飞来飞去。）
我妈倒是愿意来，也来过几次，但总是放心不下我爸。上次我妈回国后发现我爸瘦了一
圈，我就让她不要过来了。
如果是短期来住一两个月，也很折腾老人啊。他们倒时差更费劲。
唉，家家有本难念的经。所有人都是特别顾家特别爱孩子的人，怎么就那么难协调呢？ |

我儿子从小到大老师complain最多的就是上课daydreaming. 我下周一和pediatrician
再讨论下，要不先同意学校psychologist test. 自己如果想要更全面的test, 再外面
联系,就是外面联系会慢些，这老师年轻急性子。我一个亲戚是adhd specialist, 她暑
假来我家住了一周，刚才通了电话，她说儿子绝对不是asperger syndrome (autism一
种）， 是adhd or add.

我从小就是一个非常磨蹭的娃，爸妈怎么催怎么骂都不管用
因为其实磨蹭并不是做事慢，而是容易被distract掉，为此忘了应该做的事情
所以讲大道理没用，催有用但是必须随时都催，不会改善你小孩的习惯
而且一旦你不催她就会更慢
针对你娃的表现
比如吃着吃着早饭就呆住了，明显是distracted or daydreaming
有效的办法就是remove distractions, and help her stay on track
偶尔做块了表扬一下
但是说实话对于容易被distract的孩子来说，生活不是一个个task去完成
而是一个个新鲜的experience穿成的。他们把所有东西都当作游戏，
所以最最有效的办法是把早上的routine structure成一个game，比如和妈妈比赛
谁衣服穿得快，谁先下楼挑好吃的早点，还有5分钟之内吃完或者多少分钟之内
出门立刻可以给个她很care的小奖励。
注意必须是立刻奖励，因为这样
的小孩最重要的是instant gratification,所以积攒红花到周末换个啥东西

画啥就画啥。我就提供一大盒各种水笔，画笔和蜡笔，铅笔。
我丫头也是开始画圈圈开始。我忘了从那一天开始，突然她就会画sunflower，把我们
全家画成sunflower family。从此一发不可收拾，什么都画。前段时间迷上了rapunzel
的长辫子，画了几天的rapunzel和她的王子，天天daydream她自己变成了rapunzel。
我感觉是，孩子ready了，就突然无师自通了，真不用担心了。每个孩子都有自己的生

按部就班做完daily routine，在学校不能听老师指令，顺利完成事情/任务切换的原因。
我做了ADHD和Excecutive Functioning disorder quiz，初步结果没有症状，不过我们
正在联系专家，以便排除这些可能。
如果不是disorder导致的能力问题，那么就是态度问题，如果是态度问题，我们就要和
女儿好好讨论，商量对策，如何解决矛盾和冲突，基本上就是调节自己的情绪，服从老
师的指令，在家里，我们尽量给她5分钟缓冲，用timer提醒啥的。
