declaration，你可以要求一个完全新的trial（trial de novo）上庭，从新再争一次
，好像你做trial by declaration之前一样。所以trial by declaration是白白给多你

可以再重新出庭挣，就等于有两次机会。而且很多警察不理trial by written
declaration （因为对他们没有利益；出庭他们有overtime，但写这些没有）；如果他
们不回答，你就赢了。
案件分arraignment和trial两部分。arraignment也可以通过邮件去plead not guilty
（要先交罚款）和要求trial by written declaration。他们会寄给你trial by
written declaration的资料；你有21天时间写好寄回去。基本上说你没罪，当时没有
红灯就行了。可能要等几个星期或几个月才轮到你的案的；最好时不时打电话去问。如
果输了，你有一定时间（好像21天）去要求新的trial上庭。赌警察不去（因为到时候

1.我那天在红灯处停下，听见手机铃声，当时手机在副驾驶放着，从iphone上看到是公
司打来的，没有接，想按掉，天气热， 觉得很吵，觉得反正还有15分钟就到目的地了
，等到了再给公司打电话；所以当时有个动作是从副驾驶把手机拿到大腿上，低头2秒
钟把声音按掉，只是声音被按掉，来电还是继续显示着；整个过程都是在红灯的时候停
下的状态；
2. 然后刚把手机放回副驾驶，这时骑着自行车的警察敲我车玻璃，说我的case是hold
cellphone violation.任凭我怎么解释，都要给我罚单，说我应该停在路边可以停车的
位置才能看手机；我当时委屈得哭得稀里哗啦的，不知道怎么办才好，硬是活生生的被
他给了罚单；
3. 比较愚蠢的是警察走了后，我就停在可以停车的路边哭了10分钟左右，然后给朋友
打电话请教怎么办，唉，都怪我，我要是不打那个电话就好了，因为我的电话记录可以
成为很好的证据，电话记录上显示我那天确实没有接电话，唯一的纪录就是我打了一个

1) 去court hearing，跟法官谈。我谈过了，说愿意交钱，但要免点。法官说不想给
我免点，我说要fight.
2) hearing完，如果没达到目的，申请Trial by Written Declaration.
3) Trial by Written Declaration输了，上庭。
这种事情就是很耗时间。还有如果上traffic school,绝对保险不会涨，至少加州是这
样。
我以前上庭过一次，３年多前，直接上庭的，没有做hearing和Trial by Written
Declaration,后来我的那个ticket被换成了parking ticket,交了５０块钱，不计点。
这次这法官不知道咋这么难说话。。。 加州真是穷了。 |

After long thought, I decided to play declarer for QJxxx xx Ax KJxx. Since
if pd had SAJ, she might have cashed the SJ, or might not lead the stiff as
the SJ is often a natural trump trick.
But of course, my SK collided with the J. No problem, I'm still not dead if
declarer does not have the DJ as I can eliminate dummy's H ruff after C
pitch. However, when I tried to cash the HK, declarer ruffed!
So it turns out pd bid a weak 2 with 7H, and 2-7-3-1 shape... declar |

Anyway, it looks like declarer has 5 tricks in the majors. If declarer has
DK also, the contract is unbeatable unless I smoothly duck CQ and find
declarer with 3442 shape (and that he tries to finesse club again). On the
other hand, if the declarer knows we are good defenders, then he may suspect
that I have CQ, because it would be technically wrong for partner to not
cover CJ if he had that card. So, in an expert field, I'd rather take CQ

as many as you can. Sometimes, when gib is lucky, it can make some quite
tough hands. Overally, I don't think gib's declaring skill is comparable
with human experts. Gib's defense is actually much weaker. If one really
wants to implement an online bridge gambling website, I think he can forget
about declaring, always allow human to declare when in dummy and try to improve robert's defense and bidding as much as he can.

some discards, so it looks like an attacking lead may be needed. The chance
for club lead blowing a trick is not very high, since declarer cannot have
too many clubs at hand, it has to be specific holdings to cost you, such as
declarer having KJ doubleton and dummy having A. Even then, declarer still
may not be able to immediately get to dummy to pitch a diamond loser.

holds Qx in diamonds and Ax in clubs, he can pitch the club loser on DJ.
So CK caters for:
1) declarer has Kxx in diamonds and stiff club
2) declarer has Qx in diamonds and Ax in club
3) some other chances which doesn't make difference which card you play
Immediate diamond back loses for case (2).
I think low club is better. My main point is that immediate return of

should know that D is hopeless and declarer is almost marked with D shortage
. He has no C honor either. If partner holds a good sequence in C, he would
play C himself. So he really doesn't like C. If he doesn't like C and D, it
makes sense to encourage H here.
There are also some other holdings for H continuations. For example,

pd does have D J9xx. Declarer has HAQx, but as you guys analyzed, this is
not important.
The fact is that pd has every weak hand, you have possible entry and long
club. No one likes to discard the long club at this situation. This hand is
from a Vugraph. West at both tables discarded a spade, which is obviously
wrong according to JO :)
The commentator said it is "obvious" to discard a heart, since declarer

Declarer plays SQ, partner wins SK, and declarer discards a D. Do you have
better idea for declarer's hand?
Yes, 0571 with stiff CK.
Partner could return a C, but that seems too hard for him. He returned a D,
and declarer had to give up a club, but still scored 10 tricks.
How do you think about the H9 play now? :) |

发帖数: 642 | 50 From the bidding and the lead, it is likely LHO holds long spades, or 4-4.
Based on this assumption, it may be better for declare to check diamonds
before playing hearts.
As the real play goes, after HT wins, declarer already has two tricks in
each suit. He should check whether diamonds break before playing third
hearts. Otherwise when LHO follows Hx rather than HQ, he will have a
headache to choose A or J, either of which can be wrong.
