按照原定计划, 在Moab的两天里, 第一天是Arches,第二天是Islands in the Sky 和
Dead Horse Point.因为儿子在去Double Arche的路上受伤, 没有能够走到Dedicate
Arche, 心里一直耿耿于怀.第二天起来看儿子又活蹦乱跳的样子,领导就原谅了我的过
失, 同意再探Dedicate.
上午匆匆游了Canyonlands和Dead Horse Point, 出来快三点钟了. 原计划是赶到
Needles然后在一个叫Bluff的小镇歇息的, 现在直奔Dedicate Arche, 四点钟开始往上

5mile长, 500 feet高的trail,已经快六点钟了.更糟糕的是云层又聚集过来, 根本看不
到sunset了. 但终究还是爬了上来, 总算是不虚此行了. |

我短暂用过一阵子，就用dedicated server了
self-managed的dedicated server 100/mo绝对可以有很多选择
比稍微好一点点的VPS最多最多贵30，40块钱
另外，对于dedicated server，例如serverbeach这样的，最好打电话去问问，一般会谈一个比网上价格好些的价格 |

changed to dedicated server, later to collocation, now back to dedicated
server.

机器折旧电费，不算人工了，都要不少钱
如果已经发展到了使用dedicated server，一个月100来块的月租应该早就不是一个大
数字了，否则可以使用好一些的shared hosting or vps，没有必要dedicated server |

Dedicated Server: 他们的机器, 他们装好了基本的系统给你, 他们负责网, 有些让你
自己管理机器, MANAGED SERVER, 他们负责管理机器.
同样配置的机器, Dedicated Server可能不那么好, 虽然看着也是2GB, XX CPU, 多少
硬盘SIZE, 实际上可能其他货不见得是好东西, 可能比你自己买的要慢点. |

主要的原因是我现在 hosting 不少小网站,如果每个每月花 $5 左右,十个就需要 $50
/month.
Godaddy 的 virtual dedicated server 每月花费是 $29.99, 如果能 host 我所有的
网站就更经济.不知道有没有人用过 VDS, 我还没尝试过,想了解一下.

要40$一个月, 结果给我的IP在BLACKLIST上, 人家注册的EMAIL都发不出去, 网速慢,
然后还不给取消, 折腾了很久. 后来就不贪便宜了. |
