What I learnt is that deer may not be necessary to rely on water holes for
water. The morning dew may be good enought some time.
Even you have to stalk hunt deer, I still not recommend you to shoot a deer
more than 50 yards. Beyond 50 yards, you have less than 50% to hit a deer
and less than 50% to retrieve a deer even you hit it. Too many variation can
lead to fail.

Hiking 5 miles in wild place is too much, esp. in the dark. Can you use
other means, i.e. muzzleload, instead of archery? You can hardly get a shot
in this type of hunt. Surely, you don't want to miss it when the opportunity
is present.
If other means are not allowed, you may have setup and let the deer come to
you instead of chasing them in the wild. The final place you find may be the

pictured rocks, 虽然没有看到传说中的北密秋色，但和密西根的小伙伴们玩的也挺
high. 后面2次是专程为了去看传说中的北密秋色. 只不过12年因为天时地利人和的原
因，看到了美的可以让人窒息的秋色，而13年，因为各种不给力，看到了满山大雾版的
北密秋色。
2014年，虽然居住的地方已经和密西根相隔千里，但心里还是想去看看北密的秋色。跟
以前不同，这次是飞到minneapolis, 然后开车去野猪山，41号公路& brockway drive.

发帖数: 1186 | 38 如果有开阔地，这个时节弄个deer decoy会有很大帮助。Deer call也很有帮助。Deer
decoy需要scent killer 加 deer scent配合。也就是先用scent killer去味，然后再
涂deer scent. Decoy扮公鹿的话，deer scent涂鹿嘴上；如果扮母鹿，scent就涂后面
屁股尾巴上。如果有比较平直的树杆，最好用自爬式树挂上树坐着。否则的话就用置于
地上的blind。这个时节blind很便宜，几十块钱就可以买一个。最后记得给自己身上喷
scent killer。地上置blind的话，记得选一个下风口。有测风向的小白粉喷子卖。

是有fence的back yard的， 这样deer tick进来的可能性会小很多。 我们家在RI， 虽
然有fence， 但是后院还是时常会看见tick， 不过都不是deer tick， 大概是因为
fence挡住了deer的缘故， 当然deer tick也有一些可能会附着在其他动物身上， 只是
没有deer那么多罢了。 而导致lyme Disease的主要是deer tick。 你家要是没有宠物

在啃草。
兔子也精明了，一看到我们，就往树林里面跑。晚上再出来，蹲着啃草。
已经知道这些兔子平常出没的路线了。
住处属于city limit范围，因此，不能够用枪打猎。
去年用过deer off， deer scram等等驱赶兔子的药品，太贵了，每次一下雨，就要重
新播撒。一大桶deer scram，100多刀的价格，四个多月就用光了。去年买了3大桶deer
scram，花了400多美元。
今年继续用deer scram，用不起了。太贵了。
1）想到walmart去买一条气枪，来打兔子，但是，考虑到可能违法。这个要咨询警察局。
2） 后来想，自己做一个电网，拉在院子四周，晚上通电，电兔子。然后红烧兔肉吃？
