转,凌晨老是痛醒。接着看了一个月Chiroprator依然不见好转。Chiroprator让我去看
Physical Therapy。Physical Therapist让我做了一些稳定腰椎和锻炼腰肌的练习还是
不见好转。后来做了MRI。MRI报告说:
1. Mild degeneration at the L4-5 level includes a small disc bulge and mild
bilateral ligamentum flavum hypertrophy. No lumbar disk herniation is
evident.
2. Very mild T12 and L2 level vertebral body compression deformities of the
chronic and benign and/or of doubtful clinical significance. No acute
fracture evident.

first, I would assume the angle is parallel to the column web and connected
to the shear tab with two bolts perpenticular to the web plan.
Another thing is the rotation can occur even in the welded beam-column
connection. That rotation may be an elastic deformation in the beam section.
I think the rotation you mentioned is like a pin rotation. Since the pin-
connection in your model can only provide very samll moment resistant, we
consider it as pin-connection for design purpose.

bolts.
Looks like the rotation was achieved with oversized hole for the bolts.
Elastic deformation will contribute if the hole size is too small.

The original question is about the spacial mode of a laser, not how the
shape deforms in fiber or any media when the light propagates, not to
mention frequency domain, which is almost completely irrelavant.
For a confocal resonator, the spacial mode can be analytically solved to
be Hermite-Gauss functions, in which the TEM00 mode corresponds to a simple
2D Gaussian beam.
So for edge-emitting LD, the spacial mode should be 2D Gaussian beam, although

请教一个问题:科研当中需要作一个phantom,对这个phantom的要求如下:
1.原材料最好比较透明(或者有些发白也可以),这样我们可以
添加不同的材料来实现不同的光学特性
2.phantom的可塑形需要非常的好,最好能够象橡皮泥
3.phantom需要是固体的,象jell的那种,但不能易碎
4.如果能够有一些弹性最好,因为我们需要压缩
我们曾经尝试过一种silicon rubber(Shaw A hardness为0.03),只是有一些
弹性,几乎没有塑性。
不知道应该找那方面的材料或者资料?

first of all, it is not emulsion, it is dispersion polymerization.
the second, 全变成糊糊了 does not mean that the polymer spheres are deformed
, the state of your product migght be due to the low Tg OF THE polymer.
If so, no matter how you do, you can not get nice pictures. Otherwise, just
go ahead to take image of it.

正在做surface evolution的问题,用于3D object segmentation.
1. max principal curvature k1> min principal curvature k2. 包括符号吗? 还是只
是|k1|>|k2|. 对于elliptic convex surface, k1>k2>0. 对于elliptic concave
surface, 是 k2|k2|).
2. 对于一个3D elliptic sphere的上下两部分,例如下面的两个图中的突起部分,应
该一个是convex, 另外一个是concave吧。当用k2>0搜索符合条件的点,然后在进行
surface evolution, concave部分也有deformation. 能帮助解释一下吗?

In finite element method, matrix is a second-order tensor. If the matrix (3
by 3) describes a strain state, then the trace would be the volume strain. If the matrix is a Cauchy tensor describing the deformation of a hyperelastic material, the trace would be the first invariant I; If the matrix (3 by 3) describes a stress state, the trace would be three times the hydraulic pressure.
Extending to multi-dimensional spaces (R^n), the trace would be the volume
strain in R^n.
