I have not got a chance to think about the degradation yet. I only did some
research on the collision test. Both traverse and enclave behaved similar.
Ford Flex was a bit better for 2010. no data for 2011 yet...
basically, there is no big change for enclave and traverse in 2011 compared to 2010 generation. so your comments are valuable.

电池寿命还可以,正常情况10万迈以后电池容量还有80%.但是在AZ这种特别热的地方(经
常100F/40C+)有点问题,degrade比较快.
充电很简单,120V放一晚上就行.有几个option,一种是只充80%延长电池寿命,一种是充
满多跑路.
一般一度电跑3迈,最理想的情况接近6迈,当然最坏的情况只有2迈.成本是汽油的1/3或
者1/4.
电池以外的维护比汽车少得多.温柔一点开,连刹车都是lifetime的.
充满电range是70多迈,极端情况可以到140迈.上班买菜很好用.周末出门不太行,从Palo
Alto进趟三番城都要提心吊胆. |

理论上更不耐用的是AT，fluid degrade以后clutch set很容易fail，high
temperature也会causing fluid很快fail，而且parts又多，gear越多结构越复杂
上面我就说过了，CVT如果像你说的那么脆弱，怎么从来没见过哪个belt断掉 |

1, 换油还得看怎么开的，极端环境下或是towing就需要更早换，如果平时买菜那样开
，90k可能都早了。如果不放心的话，建议60k一换，这是中间值。cvt不像ATF那样时间
久了打出很多clutch dust，很早就要换。但cvt fluid里面有很多addictives会
degrade over time，所以按时也要换的。
2，没那么长，但是也不短，60k换比较安全
3，dealer的环境应该都够可以了。
数八路cvt大概是12quarts，pan里面一半，torque converter里面一半。
有的dealer只是drop oil pan 然后drain & refill后自称flush，有的是真的做flush
。所以主要看dealer是不是良心。好的dealer在flush以后拉一圈高速，回来再看油位
置，多了再放掉，多余的油不利于散热，会引起cvt保护。

to go up as the 100-250 BEVs gradually become available (especially the
Chevy Bolt). so as long as your purchase price keeps the the potential
depreciation into consideration, you should be fine.
on the battery lifespan, you should not expect any major problem for a 6-yr
old BEV. manufacturers often offer 8 year 100k mile warranty. From the
published data, the degradation is slower than what people thought.

Guess what, colorado is not not that hot. Most of the 2011 leaf in co still
have 11 bars.

电车Range的确是个让一些司机神经紧张的事情。所以一定要保证家里能充电。因为在
外面的不一定去了就有，公司经常很早占满；Supercharger 经常排队，而且车多的时
候充电时间更长，最慢有时只有30mi/hour。SFH/TH家里最方便的就是搞电烘干机接口
adaptor, $45一个, 16mi/hour, 和普通chargpoint速度一样。不然重新装单独线路，
电工经
常要>$1000。
高速75mph的耗电比local多20%左右，地图上查10mi，车里range会掉13左右。
冬天开暖气很影响range，估计至少15%左右。夏天空调相对好点，大概5%-10%。
保养电池，除了平常尽量只冲90%，还有一个统计说常用super charger有利于电池寿命
。
