lessons and workshops!
On Sunday, April 29, Katusha will hold two 45-minute workshops
covering Tango and Viennese Waltz at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m, respectively.

to not registering until the very last moment or so which makes it really
hard to post a list of competitors.
Anna Demidova is dancing with Andrew. They are a very nice couple to watch
and it would be very interesting to see how they place in Amateur among
other couples (if they are dancing Amateur, not just U21) since most (if not
all) their past results are in U21. |

两个类似，但是不同的art forms.
先说摩登，国标只有close position,讲究的是two persons dance as one.
美标是舞厅舞（国标）和其它舞种的结合，比如jazz, contemporary, lyrics
美标高手很多都有classical background. 手臂和腿的线条延展优美
这些方面国标高手望尘莫及。但美标高手在close position肯定比不上国标高手
举两个例子，日本的super star, 顶尖国标高手表演的show dance
开头结尾不少side by side或者 solo work，比起美标高手，差太远。
特别是现在的世界冠军，alessia betti
sloppy shoulder , sloppy arm,看得人难受
也有个别好的，christopher hawkins不错，katusha demidova也不错
国标里很多人做develope, 就是举腿那个动作
动作质量美感，比美标选手差很多
平时大家看到party里比赛里中低水平都是国标比美标跳得好，难免有偏见。

要说fact, 当今高手，很多是从小学ballroom, 比如mirko+alessia
christopher hawkins, johnathan wilkins, hazel newberry, katusha demidova
victor fung, max, yulia(ballroom和民族舞都学了), slavik, bryant watson,
matthew cutler, nicole cutler, joanna leunis
这些是想得起来的看过他们interview或者bio的
还有些相对名气小些的max ballas, kevin clifton, joanna clifton,爸妈是冠军
从小在studio长大
不是从小学ballroom的，有karina, figure staking -> ballroom
elena (andre + elena) gymnastics -> ballroom
charlotte jorgensen ballet -> ballroom

like her in that catalogue. she is not big in reality, has a great figure
of course, flexible body, and great show skills. i think she is going to win
in this season. Natalie, the Olympics gold medal swimmer, surprised me,
