尤其是禅宗，跟南传除了训练技术不同，非常一致。
大乘另外有虔诚为基础的训练。有菩萨。
南传遵佛陀为老师，不为神。否定谁能保佑谁的训练。
不过真到了看取真相，不可能不一样。哪怕看到了一眼（看到一眼就保证反复看到），
就明白真相不可能有任何争议。并且这真相如此直截了当，是每个人都能看到的（会系
统明白为什么大家皆有佛性）。
另外说一下以虔诚为基础的同修， 要明白那是个途径。是你的个人，不是每个人，选
择的方式。
当看到其他对你的崇拜对象有评论时， 正面的态度是坚硬自己的devotion， 让自己的
信心不受其他人的话语影响。
希望不信仰的人对其毕恭毕敬，是你自找烦恼。：）
你给了神（神的确存在， 不过他们也并非随心所欲）令你上的权利， 也同时给了他能
惩罚你的权利。所谓心生万物。
反面也如此， 不靠他的人， 也不受其惩罚。
当然，devotional 是个非常有效的道路。是把自己的身份控制权surrender给
devotional的对像。
如果投降的彻底， 就是内观智慧的万事无我。 |

某一方面的体现。求菩萨的本质是向自性投降，是自己改变自己，不是一般理解的“谁

给100%=他们给亲生的100%。而且在那些孩子很容易发现自己是领养的家庭里，给100%
都不一定能让孩子觉得receive的是100%，不是么？所以我觉得重要的是做100%的努力
，同时大家都放低期望。往往是在心理上防患于未然，才能真正做到100%。devoted这
个词从来都不是对两个对象，一个家长怎么能对两个孩子同时100% devoted? 更何况两
个孩子的需要有可能不同，有些孩子需要多些attention，有些孩子需要少些。你怎么
定义100% devoted，平均分配还是按需分配？我觉得反而是在心理知道这个东西很难平
衡，而努力地去寻找平衡才是比较容易处理好关系的态度。 |

利未人在神面前供職，一生算來也只有二十年的時間而已。他們的事奉時間，從30歲開
始，到50歲就結束了。這是他們一生當中最精華的部分，也是很短的一段時間，若沒有
好好的把握，一下子就過去了。
我最常聽到一些被呼召出來要服事神的人，所說的話：「只要讓我賺夠了養老金，我
就會出來服事神。」或者是：「只要等我的孩子大學畢了業，不必再靠我，我就出來服
事神」
當我們被呼召要出來事奉神時，有三點是我們常犯的錯誤思想：
(1) 神是貧窮的神：
第一個錯誤的思想是甚麼呢？ 就是我如果要出來服事，需要是當我沒有任何財務
上的負擔時，才出來服事神。也就是神不會供應我的一切需要，需要我自籌經費，需要
我自己來承擔一切的財務需要。

七月四日，是美国国庆日。在美国居住二十多年，每年看美国的国庆日庆祝活动，都相
当感慨，它至少有两个特色：
首先，美国各地的庆祝活动，不是官方为了宣传国家强大、执政党伟大光荣正确而组织
的，而主要是由民间团体或私人公司举办的。像纽约每年的国庆焰火，都是由梅西（
Macys）百货公司举办的。焰火相当绚丽多彩，据说要几百万美元。而首都华盛顿的焰
火，以及各地的庆祝游行活动等等，几乎都是私人团体举办的。而不像共产国家那样，
从来都是倾国家之力，做政府一手操纵的宣传。
美国国庆纪念活动的第二个特色是，它虽然是纪念国家的建立，但主要是赞美这个国家
保障了每个人的自由，给个人提供了发展的机会，也就是这个国家刚刚建立时发表的《
独立宣言》所确立的那些原则。美国人不说国庆日，而是把七月四日称为“独立日”，
不仅是纪念美国当年从英国统治下争取到独立，建立了一个新的国家，更是传递《独立

1. career: if he can networking back to U.S., then you will be fine. Spouse
hire is not a new thing.
2. Family: No matter what, being together is important. If you think he is
not devoting to family, leaving him alone in china definitely will push him
to devote more to work, if not other families.
