1 use Seas0nPass to create customed .ispw file
2 put atv2 into DFU mode: plug in usb, press menu + play together. I use Pwn
tool to guide me.
3. Use itune to restore atv2 with .ispw in 1.
3. put back atv2 to TV and initial setup with wifi
4. ssh into atv2 and do
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
apt-get install org.xbmc.xbmc-atv2
5. Open XBMC, install all the add-ons
6. Download nightly build XBMC and scp upload to atv2. Do
dpkg -i ???.db on atv2 to replace xbmc

开始一直在preparing instore阶段卡住，出错1601,google,重装了itunes,还是不行，
然后用先开itunes，reboot atv2,按menu+play,进入restore状态，退出itunes再运行
ireb,进DFU,再回itunes，安装失败，错误2009
又google,有建议保持power cable connected,这次通过了preparing,software
install,最后restoring firmware，白灯一直亮，最后报错1602

你第一步运行ireb,进DFU做过了，
但是第二步用 seasonpass 产生 .ispw 文件没有做。。
（需要在我给的链接里下载seasonpass软件）
第三步开itunes后，是要一边按“shift”键，一边点restore,才能用自己的 .ispw 文件恢复。 |

How to entering DFU mode.
Plug your device into your computer.
Turn off the device.
Hold the Power button for 3 seconds
Hold the Home button without releasing the Power button for 10 seconds
Release the Power Button but keep holding the Home button
Keep holding the Home button until you are alerted by iTunes saying that
it has detected a device in Recovery Mode |

I guess this is problem as you said. Either the computer can't read the
memory correctly or the memory itself is down. .... Tough it is true.

I never had error 28 before and all of them can initiate DFU mode w/o any
problem.
The error 28 in China won't be an expensive fix, usually re-soldering the
nand would make the problem go away.
If you can remove the logic board, most likely one (or more) of the pins on
one of the nands became loose, see if you can do the job yourself. Otherwise
move on. 3G is really very slow right now, especially with ios 4. |

1) download the version of firmware you want to restore to. If you don't
want to change your baseband, you need find a customized version of it
from internet
2) get into DFU. Download a copy of iREB from www.ih8sn0w.com and run it
and follow the steps
3) close itune, run Tiny Umbrella and start TSS
4) Ctrl + click the restoration button. One window will pop out and ask to
you to pick which version you want to do restoration. |

刷新版和老版的固件都不行，都是verification通不过。
用sn0wbreeze可以进DFU mode, 但都刷不了firmware.

1. download this firmware

ifunbox不认。。
recover之后，装了openSSH，进去用dd做了磁盘镜像。。只是苹果文件系统加密，工具
都不怎么好使 |
