will not be write back to A by snapshot.
As far as I know, there are only 2 ways to write
subscriber's data back to publisher. One is merge and
another one is transactional with immediately updated
subscriber.
Using merge, we can decide the conflict resolution (whether
publisher or subscriber).
If merge supports dialup connectino well, then it is
absolutely a better choice. There is not much discussion

control panel -> Network and Dialup Connections -> Local Area Connection),
there are upper and lower field. The upper field is Microsoft Loopback
Adapter. Click "Config" -> Advanced -> Network Address, then you can write a
IP there. But it seems this is not the IP used for this adapter. Its IP is
set by lower field "Internet Protocol(TCP/IP)-> properties. Then what is the
purpose to set IP in upper field? |

a new IP (say 192.168.1.34) by the VPN gateway in order to access server 192
.168.1.33? This is IPsec, assuming my pc is a dialup user.
If my pc will not be assigned a new IP when VPN is set, is there any case/
setting which will cause q new IP is assigned?

deplolyed already, 通常也得去现场，如果当地的人可以帮忙做，那可以解决很多问
题。
新项目去安装，也得去。按装设备也按时间算钱，通常都是一个价，没有说按装设备少
算点的。

以前我用 Local的DSL, 将老婆的计算机和我的Desktop用网卡连接后, 将DSL拨号设置成
可以共享拨号后, 就可以直接从老婆的计算机访问外界网络, 可以激发我的寄宿机的拨号
动作.
不过我现在用的是AOL Dialup了, 在网络与拨号网络设置中没有AOL的属性设置.
请问如何能使用AOL将两机同时上网?????

connection is established because I can see the DNS and Gateway ip from ISP.
Also I can log on MSN sometimes. However, I just can go any website. I checked
router and it is same. I use dialup and I can go online. Are there any people

There is this person on ICQ, I can see his IP, however, when I ping it,
it always give me time out. I have tried both domain name ping and IP ping.
All timeout... He uses dialup and I am sure he is not using any firewall
or some sort... The IP that I have must be the correct one. However, I can
still msg him and send him files via ICQ etc...
Somebody told me when the computer is heavily loaded, sometimes you can't
ping them even it is still online, just like you get "ping time out"

了，IE总显示“Page cannot displayed”。但AOL的自带browser却还能用。Dell
Support检查了好几遍，最后说只能重装Windows system。
请问这样的情况只能这样了吗？为了这个个似乎挺小的问题大动干戈，是有必要吗？

scan 你这台机器的 port 。记得当时 blaster 很猖狂的时候，我的
机器因为在 router 后，一直没事。可是一天那个 cable 公司的网路
有问题（经常这样，后来一气之下换了dsl），就用 dialup 上网。刚
上去，就挨招。好在当时刚好手上有张盘时 M$ 给治 blaster worm 的。
所以有 router 很重要。 |

can set one ip, say 192.168.0.5 in the DMZ. Your PC should has the same
static IP. Probably you need to reset your router. NOw your PC is exposed to
the internet without firewall. video conferencing should work at least in
your end. I used netmeeting.
You also have to make sure your party is not behind any firewall either. If he
uses diaup under XP, the dialup connection by default is firewalled. But it

I had used Freeworld dialup, Gizmo5 for many years. I am using Callcentric
for free calls inside the network. Several times, I suspected that VOIP was
blocked in China, but never get any proof.
However most times calls work beautifully with better quality than paid
calls. |
