自2001年以来已在进行年度薪酬调查的Dice Holdings表示，这是自2008年以来科技
专才取得的最大薪酬增幅，早前约有两年薪酬基本上是持平。在2011年，科技业之平均
薪酬增幅超过2%，由2010年的79，384元增至81，327元。
而花红亦增加8%至平均的8，769元。Dice并指出有更多人获得这类津贴。去年有32%
的员工获发花红，比2010年的29%及2009年的24%为多。
矽谷科技业薪酬上升5%
矽谷科技业薪酬上升5%至104，195元，而发放花红在矽谷亦较为普遍并有较大金额，
有38%的专业人才获发平均12，450元花红。
在科技业获得高薪厚禄的不单是矽谷；奥斯汀（Austin）的薪酬亦上升13%至平均89
，419元；随后的是波特兰（Portland），上升12%至82，055元；之后是休士顿（
Houston），上升7%至89，307元；而首府华盛顿则上升6%至94，317元。
