发现人们说的diffraction peaks 都是说的是一个uni cell 的不同面反射的x-ray的
constructive interference 的build up. 为什么那些距离大于一个unit cell的面不
会产生这样的干涉峰呢?是几率太小了吗?根据布拉格公式,这样的峰应该出现在小角

我老是科研屌丝,挣钱能糊口就行。
1.很多做结构的人都知道在文章发出来前,只有上帝和你老板还有你知道某蛋白长啥样
。这种满足感就够我老这样的人high一会儿了。
2.一个蛋白终于长晶体并且diffract的很好绝对是努力N年的结果,满足感同上。
3.CNS老发结构paper造成结构容易发大paper的假象,其实啥结构都能发CNS的全世界也
就是那几个lab,90%的结构lab发PNAS都要被虐的体无完肤。

如果刚长上一两天,白色颗粒可以稍后再观察,看能否发育成较好的晶体。羽毛状物应
是晶体,但diffraction quality恐怕偏低。可以依据长出羽毛状物的条件继续尝试做
进一步的optimization。

all the X-ray gives only lattice of electron, photon-nuclei interaction is
negligible,while neutron diffraction gives the lattice of nuclei.
high hkl (high Q) only means smaller d-spacings from the heavy elements can
be detected.

我重复了MOF-177 , 还有 UMCM-150 的合成,x-ray diffraction pattern是重合的,
但是做mof-177 吸附CO2的试验,还有umcm-150吸附硫的试验效果很差,请问是不是合
成或者除溶剂的方法有什么特别要注意的地方?

It is very good for writing certain papers.
At least every one of three papers in materials related field has results of
electron microscopy. However, nearly all of them are only for window
dressing. Real problems are predominantly solved by diffraction and other
techniques, this is in accordance to certain DOE report read years ago.
If it were not for the nano hype, TEM probably is almost obsolete. Actually

What you see in an image of HRTEM/STEM is not the "movement range" of an
atom. Actually, its effects could be neglected. Diffused intensity in
diffraction patterns might encode some of those information though.
For crystals, potential of atom is radially symmitrical(or close to it) and point spread function of microscope could also be understood as radially symmitrical.
Their convolution tends to result into something with Gaussian shape.

ft,SERS无所谓上下。只要你的analyte足够接近nanostructure就行了。colloid
solution里面怎么分上下?生物里面还有好多用analyte做linker的,只有当两个NP
被link在一起才会有信号,这算上还是下?
TERS主要的特点是SCAN,spatial resolution高,一次只看一个点的信号。一般的SERS受
diffraction limit的限制,做不到这点。

It may be hard but in principle it is feasible. Even a single layer of atoms
scatter electrons. In my opinion 2-3 nm is perfect for electron diffraction
since there are no dynamical effects.

period a, illuminated by incident coherent beam, then
the diffracted light has the frequency cos(sita)/lambda,
but a*cos(sita)=m*lambda according to grating theorem,so
the frequency could also be represented as m/a, which is

"image processing", so we can see in physical optics and
image science, the two term is actually equivalent.

not true, actually frequency allocation for GSM is
more or less the same in most countries, except north America.
800-900MHz signal covers wider area is due to the diffraction
feature of this frequency band is better than that around 2GHz.
Actually the penetration ability of 2Ghz signal is better than 900Mhz

彩虹是光线通过圆形水滴经过一次折射,两次反射产生的强度增强效应,因不同波长
的光折射率不同因而产生光谱。 从Mie计算可知,产生彩虹的水滴最佳直径大约在0.1
-1.5mm之间,太小了,各种颜色的带挤在一起,形成十分模糊的所谓Cloud Bow;
太大了,水滴会在重力下发生变形偏离球状,形成的虹会有所变形。所以,当你看到
一道美丽的彩虹时,你应该知道彩虹处的雨滴大概范围;如能看到二级彩虹,说明那
里的水十分干净,光线在水滴内经两次反射,三次折射后衰减仍不太厉害,就会产生
二级彩虹;但具体的吸收系数是多小才能看到,好像还没人研究过。发现哈雷彗星的
哈雷,求解出来了三级彩虹的角度,后来被观测到,因为原来大家都找错方向了:三
级更靠近太阳。也许古代的天空更干净一些吧。更高级的彩虹,只有在实验室里才能
见到;香港中文大学的Ng等人观察到了高达200级的彩虹。
