80年代中期，Steve Vai开始希望有一把不同于一般型号的吉他
。
他需要一款真正属于自己的吉他，一款不光音色好，而且漂亮的吉他
。
于是Ibanez的Jem系列吉他诞生了。同时，Steve Vai也便顺理成章的
成为了Ibanez Jem系列的代言人。
在广大摇滚乐迷众所周知的1990年那张经典吉他专辑《Passion
& Warfare》
中，Steve Vai将吉他演奏技巧发挥到淋漓尽致。steve vai以他良好

音乐素养和让人望其项背的技术赢得了“现代吉他上帝”的美誉。在
《Passion & Warfare》的封面上，Steve斜背着一把5彩7弦的Ibanez

Joe Satriani1957年7月15日出生于纽约长岛，在他过完14岁生
日不久，他心中的英雄吉米·汉德克斯去世了。失掉偶像的Joe绝定
退出高中足球队拿起吉它。自学三年后，Joe在长岛地区小有名气，
常能教上别人两手。有一天一个身材瘦小的小孩抱着一把琴和一打琴
弦出现在Joe的家门口，向他求教，这小孩就是后来成为摇滚界一代
吉它宗师的——史蒂夫·范（Steve Vai）
在日本生活了几年之后，Joe于1978年定居旧金山，并在著名的

好的Ibanez应该很能体现出DiMarzio拾音器的特点：可以体现出木头本来的音色。一般

没有一样。做了些一般tele没有的comfort cuts，就是那些凹进去的地方。
