随着苹果秋季发布会的不断临近，关于iPhone 8（iPhone 7s/iPhone X）的各种猜测和
传闻，众说纷纭。但是抛开外观和性能，对于此次新品的价格，外界都有一致的看法：
iPhone 8将会是最贵的一款iPhone。
和“一个肾都不够”的iPhone 8相比，降价的iPhone 7必然会成为性价比较高的一款
iPhone产品，那么iPhone 7到底有何可取之处呢？
虽然，黑色iPhone 7因为指纹和掉漆问题收到苹果用户的吐槽，但依然没有阻挡果粉对
于黑色的钟爱，毕竟不买黑色，谁知道你买的是iPhone 7呢？
另外，还有中国版大红色，送女友也是个不错的选择。
再说说iPhone 7的防水功能。
索尼和三星相继都开发了防水功能，苹果怎么能甘于落后呢？所以iPhone 7中也实现了
防水的功能，防水防尘级别达到IP67，算是比较高的级别了。

professional audio/video/graphics used to be dominated by MAC, Windows is
eating into that segment.
Linux is a far far behind 3rd place.
I used to diss Windows, now after I built my own home theater system, I
realized Linux is at least 10 years behind. I use linux of course at work
but that s a completely different story. Yet our back office use Windows, no
other way. |

刚刚写完我200页的dissertation，老板没有仔细改，直到我答辩完才edit了一下，紧
接着我着手写paper，再回头去看自己几个月前写的dissertation就有种不堪入目的感
觉，也不是一下子水平提高了，估计是放下一段时间后对自己的东西陌生了，用看别人
paper的眼光再看，发现遣词造句很ft。还是拜读完大家提供的那些写作资料再动笔比
较好。
lz说写introduction和diss最有意思，我正好相反，m&m 以及result早早写好了，对着
其他两部分发愁，怕自己对literature看得不够，写得太短浅，被老板笑话，我那点东
西写写没人看的dissertation就算了，写出去给别人review，真是压力大呀。 |

也挂上他的名字，这样他就可能有motivation帮你去跟你导师争取了...不过话说回来
，影响因子不高的杂志，paper发与不发影响都不大....PhD想早点毕业，还是要找准方
向，攒两三篇好点的paper...对于以后写diss找教职甚至办GC啥的都是有好处的~~~ |

其实他们说的话也有些道理，他们说现在系里的IR教授没有人做Game Theory的，如果我
想做这个题目就必须去请外系的老师做main advisor，如果是这个样子，那么将来在IR的
job market上就不会很competitive；另外，在IR里面搞中国历史研究似乎从现在的Job
Market上看还是比较有优势的，他们举的是那个写《Cultural Realism: Strategic
Culture and Grand Strategy in Chinese History》的Johnston，他们说Johnston声称
研读了所有中国的古代经典（诸子百家），因为美国没有其他人做这个，所以不得不相信
他说的是真的，而中国人做这个由语言上的天然优势，肯定会比美国人做的好。。。
不过我现在还有不少时间，可以再多想想。。。

extremely complicated, I don't see why you can't work it out on your own without having
a game theorist serving on your committee. Of course, you probably need to let
some people look at your model. but do they have to be on your committee? |

两边都是一个不是特别乐观的局面。对于在美国来说，现在很难作出一个什么“理论贡
献”，大伙都是把别人已经说过的东西改头换面再说一遍而已。做一个有“理论贡献的
”diss是绝对没有可能的，所以在美国找一个好教职很难。
对于国内来说，好学校就那么几个，老一辈的人还占着位子，现在已经不是90年代的时
候，谁也不会太迷信什么美国博士。而且国内太过注重血统了，所以publish几乎没啥
用处。据说人大今年有一个位置，国内外的application交了100多份，吓死人了。 |
