Scott's driver: Cleveland HiBore xl with stock shaft, 65g stiff.
My ball distance is about Scott's, Will's is like 10 yards more than Scott's
and mine, talking about the holes we all put balls on the fairways.

For the driver, I do not mishit too much but sometimes, I do slice a little
bit, which caused loss of distance. In the past couple of months, I have
been trying to lower the trajectory of the drive. I tend to hit high and put

sleep deprived -- had total about 6 hours of sleep since Friday afternoon.
went out and did an Olympic distance tri this morning -- 1.5k swim, 40k bike
, and 10k run.
Not as bad as I expected. Overall time: 2h38. Swim leg: about 31min;

long distance首先要明确一点就是现在的位置。男女朋友的时候需明确你们是不是
有个明确的未来，比如你们有个3年或5年的计划，如果连着个也都不确定的话，那的确
很难的，因为不明确不明朗的关系会很快的被距离拉远淡漠。结婚的当然更需要而且一
定要有个明确的计划。
但是不管由于什么原因既然已经是long distance了，就应该接受事实，而且最重要的
就是要有自己的生活，有自己的朋友圈子，上学的好好学习，早日毕业，工作的好好工
作，早日可以调动。其实每天忙起来就不会寂寞孤单，而且每天的思念也可以很快的让
你将孤独熬过。
另外很重要的就是每天的交流。当然我不赞成每天抱着电话好几个小时，网上一聊就
大半天那种方式，不是说了嘛，要有自己的生活，这样聊起来工作学习不是都耽误了？
而且如果你每天都联络的话，就不会每天都用特别长的时间聊天 （太长的电话很累人
的）。两个人应该互相鼓励加油，而不是每天都是说想你想到不能工作不能睡觉什么的
，那样只会让彼此更累。
还有彼此之间坦诚，并且保持完全的信任，互相猜疑不仅累人而且毫无意义。
当然别忘了只要有 |

面:）。平时因为时差，也因为两人都忙，电话里也是简短地汇报思想，汇报工作。我

lg走之前，放了好几遍老版（1952年，黑白）的《南征北战》给我洗脑。师长给小兵做
思想工作的台词：“同志，告诉你，仗有的是打，而且会越打越大。告诉同志们，不要
怕跑路，不要怕家里的坛坛罐罐给敌人打烂，不要去计较那一城一池的得失。今天我们
放弃这些地方，那就是为了要长久地保持住这些地方。今天群众受一些损失，吃一些苦

要得到什么。
比如我总有时候需要鼓励安慰之类的
可俺lg情感上比较tough（神经大条），基本自给自足，没这需要。
如果说需要成就感（分享成功喜悦之类），他还不如从同行中（老板同事）那儿得到肯
定来得更重要。
如果说需要安慰鼓励，我俩不同行，我也给不出建议，关键lg是非常self motivated一
人。
需要sex partner，这long distance也不存在了。
如果说是要找个人满足雄性动物关爱守护弱小异性的本能，俺没话好说，但养个宠物也
差不多解决一半吧。
lg非常着迷他的reserach，我有时候还觉得分开了，他挺enjoy有更多时间工作.
所以男同学说说，在无孩的情况下，两个人过日子的动机是啥啊？两个人处得好是一个

我现在的男朋友是别人介绍的，刚开始我们就不在一起，电话打了四个月后终于见的面
。在一起的时候觉得非常好。可是分开后好像又疏远了，因为他不是经常打电话，他工
作有时候很忙。有时出差他就一个星期都不联系，结果我感觉很不好。我从前有过一段
relationship后来变成long distance结果失败了，而且中间有很多欺骗和伤害，所以
我不是很有安全感。我相信他的确是工作很忙，我也不是说很闲没事干要粘住别人的人
，我们都不是小孩子了。可这点就是弄得我不太开心。大家说说看我该怎么办？难道说

一个是Pearson's Correlation 一个是 Euclidean Distance。

如果我相比较组间gene expression区别有多大，是不是用Euclidean Distance 比较好？

mixture EM都可以是multi-dim
如果你想用correlation as a distance，你可以用hierarchical clustering，这个可
以自己specify distance.
每一种clustering也都可以specify number of clusterings |
