The Waiting Game
US stocks were relatively breakeven on Monday as investors await some
catalyst to determine the next leg for the market. So even though the Dallas
Fed Mfg Survey was much better than expected, it is not strong enough ammo
to launch stocks to new heights.
So what will it take?
The next 3 days should provide ample insight into the state of the economy
with GDP, Personal Income & Outlays, Consumer Confidence and Beige Book
carrying the load.

2) Missing ID: ..... "You must submit copies of Federal Government-issued

your name and date of birth; a birth certificate with photo ID; a visa
issued by a foreign consulate; ....

这次惨啦！23号在加拿大Montreal申请的H1B，被告知Additional administrative
processing，大概两周有结果。老板突然一定要马上terminate我的employment,但他可
能会替我保留H1B身份一两周。我该继续等Check的结果吗？有可能check通过吗？工作
是一个小公司，16个人，作水处理的，我在公司工作有4年了，还是被check...可能是
公司太小吧？check的过程中，他们会直接联系公司吗？现在真不知到该怎么办... |

从来没上过高速的还是要人带一下 非上不可也不用太紧张 在高速口注意一下 先打
左转灯 尽量贴着右面的线;路上尽量保持在右数第二Lane 下高速时 在前一个口刚过换
到右Lane......... 个人认为高速比Local好开

like me if there are hotties on board.
If you want, I can get a quote from the captain. Our boat is a 24
passenger cabin cruiser, 44ft long equipped with scuba diving gears and
ready for divers.
We do lots of firework trips on Wed n Sat night, those are pretty cool. |

发帖数: 1432 | 32 周六在Mile Hi跳了AFF-I (Accelerated Free Fall, Level 1). 预报说天气不好,通知
把8：30am的课提前到7：15am. 早上起来一看,Boulder满天乌云;不过到了Longmont就
万里无云了. 早上到的时候, 看见机库里很多experience diver都睡在地板上,飞机下
,为了赶每天的第一趟飞机(load 1). 睡的地方也就是他们叠伞的地方. 高手的背后都
是艰辛的付出阿.
上午是Ground school, 有10个人参加,算比较大的班了,看来大家skydiving的热情还挺
高. 理论课主要包括四部分equipment, free fall, canopy flight和emergency. 一直
上到中午, 期间练习了Parachute landing fall (PLF)和pull sequency.
Equipment: 拉伞实际上是拉出一个小小的引伞 (pilot chute). Pilot chute把
deployment bag(D-bag)从container(伞包,其实就一个重重的大书包)里面拉出来. D |

的时候把他注册成coowner。我在wethersfield 的DMV这么搞，那边不给办，

发帖数: 352 | 45 scrubapro确实是最贵的两个休闲潜水品牌之一，另一个是atomic aquatics。所有
scubapro online的零售商都是水货，没有本厂保修。只有本地的零售商才有本厂保修。
是否值这个价格，各有说法。实际上不同牌子的设计差异都很小，设计简单，可靠性很
高。价格的高低主要在附加的功能和品牌上。我觉得适合自己的才是最好的。至于如何
是适合自己的设备，应该看你的需求和钱包的大小：-）。比如说regulator，如果你会
经常去到80+feet，你的regulator可能就得是balanced。否则有没有那个功能差别就不
大了。BCD是不是weight integrated的，差了200刀，我觉得weight belt也很好。
computer那就更是了，是不是手腕式的，是不是能直接查气压的，有没有电子指南针，
有没有nitrox。便宜的就只要200刀，足够满足一般需求了。
至于买还是租，如果是真的喜欢这项运动的话，还是应该买。第一个是大部分人都不会
整天出游，都是在本地潜水。三个月不下水，技术、反应度就生疏了。6个月按padi的

标 题: 3/2 反SCA5 Cupertino Townhall Meeting纪实与感想

这是一场奇特的辩论：为严重损害亚裔利益的SCA5法案极力辩护的，是两位华裔人士；
而有理有据奋起捍卫公平正义的，却是两位异族人士。
感谢Cupertino Townhall Meeting的组织者们，让我们能有机会欣赏这场精彩的辩论。
也让各地的华人与亚裔聚集一堂，显示我们的力量，发出我们的声音。这声音震耳欲聋
：人人平等的美国建国原则绝不容受损，种族歧视的死灰绝不容复燃。
当我到达会场时，辩论即将开始。会场外抗议SCA5的人群大约有两三百人，围成方阵，
打着标语，喊着口号，启发群众。会场内也有两三百人，挤得满满当当，过道上都站满
了人。人群中我看到了州参议员竞选人Peter Kuo，联邦众议员竞选人Ro Khanna，四点
