间2011年1月3日过世，享年93岁。消息传来，复旦大学化学系的师生无不为之恸容，我
们为失去这位德高望重的化学家、化学系的老朋友而深感悲痛， 并以复旦大学化学系
的名义向Doering教授的家属表示深切哀悼。
William von E. Doering是美国哈佛大学教授，美国科学院院士，是国际著
名的物理有机化学家。他对中国怀有深厚的感情，1980年初，他作为我国改革开放后首
批到访的学者访问复旦大学。当时中国正值改革开放初期，百业待兴，条件十分艰苦。
他克服重重困难在复旦开设了有机化学研讨班。按照他在哈佛大学的讲课内容为来自全
国各重点高校近50名教师讲授有机化学和物理有机两门课程，并进行多种学术交流活动
，为期3个月。此项活动对我国有机化学学科的振兴起到了重要作用。为了进一步促进
我国化学学科与国际学术界的交流与合作，他又主持了CGP项目。作为该项目的美方负
责人，通过他的努力我国每年有数十名化学本科毕业生可以不经考试直接进入哈佛、耶

在到桑吉训练营一个月后，董慕杰终于给家里打了个电话。他还是没敢说自己已经转行
去练橄榄球了—这也是桑吉的意思，远在中国的父母估计还和大部分国人一样，分不清
楚英式橄榄球（Rugby）和美式橄榄球的区别。反正如果能够最终拿到美国大学的奖学
金，父母一定会是支持的。
何况桑吉说，凭借他的关系，弄不好还能帮他在佛大篮球队找个不占用奖学金名额的

首先，巴马care绝对是烂的。根本不sustainable，完全是面子工程，就是巴马给主党
拉票的手段。这个是共识不多说了。
但是巴马care烂，不代表repel and replace容易。
首先，bipartisan的说，cover全民basic的医保是合情合理的。
其次，福利就像水，已经被巴马任性的泼出去了，怎么收回来？何况每个
congressman都有自己选区要讨好。
再说，很多rusty belt的trump voter是指望这个health care的。
所以，问题不是要不要改，而是如何在基本coverage不减太多，premium不增太多的前
提下改。
这个太难了，我觉得基本是mission impossible，除非大动作。个人认为trump拿fda

participate very much. Doers(do it) refer to people who feel on edge if they
have nothing to do. Most people fall on the middle,they work but they also

据ABC新闻网报导，在ABC电视台《早安美国》节目现场，这对华裔双胞胎姐妹都带着黑
