关于特朗普，我们获得的信息大部分是关于他的大嘴，其实，这个世界很多事情与我们

第一个故事：一位大侠
1986年2月4日，一个三代居住在佐治亚州东部波克（Burke）县的农民希尔（Lenard
Hill），在买了一份保额可观的生命保险以后，在自己的卧室中用一支0.22英寸口径的
步枪结束了自己的生命。
原因很简单，因为长期的农业欠收，希尔家面临银行大约30万美元的债务。如果不能按
期清偿，他将会失去祖辈经营了三代的农场，而且对于世代经营农场的农民来说，失去
土地是耻辱的。
为了能让家庭能继续生活在这片土地上，他选择了自杀。
可是，生命保险条款中，自杀是不能获得赔偿的，希尔明显没有搞清条款。他的遗孀（
Annabel Hill）是一位66岁的中学教师，在保险公司拒绝赔偿，丈夫丧命，银行上门要
账的压力下几乎崩溃，这样悲惨的经历被当地电视台和记者报道后立刻成为全国性的新

唐奈（Zach Donnell）在布斯贝港捕捞到一只长有4个螯的变异龙虾。原本打算吃龙虾
的扎克现在决定将这只罕见龙虾放生。
通常，龙虾只有一对两种不同的螯，一是碎螯，一是刺螯。只有在它们的基因发生变异
后，才会长出额外的螯。因而，像这样的4螯龙虾虽然比较罕见，但也不是从未出现过。

推出自己候选人克莉丝汀．欧唐尼尔(Christine O'Donnell)一举挫败党内当权派支持

今年期中初选季在14日大致告一段落，注意力已转移到11月2日的期中选举，和独
立选民尤其是茶党在各州基层选举动员力量，加上全国性政治明星莎拉．裴林(Sara
Pelin)等站台加持，凡是茶党所支持或提名的候选人大都打败党内提名人，获得共和党
候选人资格。

(CBS) Most of the candidates Sarah Palin endorsed chalked up victories
Tuesday.
And that scorecard leaves pundits wondering whether she'll now train her
sights directly on the Republican presidential nomination in 2012.
As CBS News Correspondent Jeff Glor reports, .the former GOP vice
presidential nominee backed 43 candidates for the House. Thirty of them won,
with races involving nine others still undecided.
