前一段总是断网，不过重新启动一下猫和路由就好了
最近几天就干脆上不去了，症状就是猫的online灯是
稳定常亮的，但是upstream和downstream的灯是一闪
一闪的，应该不是路由的问题因为我把电脑直接接到
猫上也上不了网。而且前天白天不能用过了夜里11点
可以稳定使用，昨天白天和夜里都用不了
我给cox打电话，他们说探测不到我的猫
然后来人检查要收$50....
我就想自己先解决看看

发帖数: 1501 | 23 先看一下有没有其他的code， 如果没有，就只有P0420，这个code是说catalytic
converter不能有效的转化废气，车子是通过比较catalytic converter前面和后面的
oxygen sensor的信号来决定catalytic converter是不是有效，upstream的oxygen
sensor的信号应该是不断变化，上下摆动，downstream的要相对稳定，如果downstream
的信号和upstream的相比变化频率过高，车子就会认为catalytic converter不行了。
我觉得这个最有可能是catalytic converter的问题。也有可能是oxygen sensor的问题
，如果只是oxygen sensor的问题，那得是上游的oxygen损坏到信号转换频率比较低，
但是没有低到让车子显示oxygen sensor的code，或者是下游的oxygen sensor损坏使得
信号频率转换过快（oxygen sensor坏了一般不会增加switich的频率，所以这个得损坏
的很特别才行）。

Shell Global Solutions下面。虽然是downstream，但是和我PhD做的东西比较接近，
而且听说似乎更容易拿return offer。但是现在大环境下裁人不断，是否会停止招人？
还是边裁老人边招新人？油价下跌似乎downstream盈利空间还上涨了？
2. Exxon Mobil 的Upstream Research Company，做chemical corrosive相关的
project，和我PhD不是很相关，而且Exxon Mobil的return offer rate本身就很低，基

错的，而且可以直接跳过那个很“另类”的SRD。。。
again，不了解downstream, 对于career development和job security/stability不好
评论。。。工作稳定性大公司应该都还好吧，尤其Exxon肯定是非常稳定的，即使是在
目前行业都很艰难的情况下。。。
至于return offer的机会有多大，可以问问你的大牛校友近几年的情况，注意是你那个
方向和function，看整体URC对你没么参考意义。。。in any case, 这两个公司都很好
，相信intern也都能得到很多锻炼和学习的机会，对于加强自己的建立都是很好的选择
，如果单看conversion to fulltime，我对楼主的方向和downstream了解不多，不过直
觉上我会选择shell。。。 |

两个公司差不多 exxonmobil比shell保守点
但是言归正传 石油公司upstream和downstream实在差太多，downstream每年的budget
和upstream完全不能比，到时候budget不够做完实习想招你也不行啊，budget少也意味
着以后再公司内部也发展小机会少。你还是做RD的，恕我直言，石油公司跟银行其实是
差不多，银行里离money越近的职位越吃香，油公司离油越近的岗位越有发展，什么
reservoir/drilling engi都是去几年油田发展越来越大，RD里面一来很多人研究越做
越窄是很不利于职业发展的，再有石油是保守行业，都是RD到处求人用自己技术。同学
，都工作了，想开点，PhD就是个经历，没多少人一辈子作着跟PhD相关的事 |

发帖数: 907 | 47 有一个wl-520gu，30多刀买的，冲着它能刷ddwrt和tomato买的。放在一楼中间位置，
每个地方都有信号，远的地方弱点，上网没问题。
不爽的是网络开通的是50Mbps downstream, 15Mbps upstream，结果接了无线后变成
10Mbps downstream和20Mbps upstream。怀疑是配置问题，目前刷的ddwrt，还没找到
能改好的配置。 |
