年近70的父亲走在人行道，被后面窜出的自行车碰倒动弹不得。我和家人马上送他到
家附近的大型医院，检查后发现多次骨折需要尽快做手术，但医院说由于年底医生都忙
着放假没人做，拒绝接受，二话不说就让我们离开。这家医院在骨科方面不是很强，所
以对他们的恶劣态度也没在意，马上送去全省最好的医院。没想到这里也是同样的借口
，态度强硬，连住院都不愿意接受，让我们马上离开。幸好有亲戚在该医院工作，见说
不通马上叫来，才办理好住院手续，但仍坚持没有医生无法手术。回家问了问，没想到
有个远方亲戚居然是该医院副院长，于是一个电话过去，第二天就顺利做完了手术。看
着父母都是一生清白做人，还是特级教师，上个医院被如此对待，简直难以忍受。

美国人排队，中国人在国内经常不自觉排队。这个大家都知道。
但是，最近我发现，在商店check-out排队时，如果新开了一个口，营业员向这些排队
的人示意的时候，排队的人都很谦让，排在第二位的最优先有选择权决定是否换过去。
有两次我排的比较靠后，就赶紧过去，发觉那么多人动作迟缓，原来是这个原因。回想
起来真是羞愧啊。
