199X年, 冬季学期, U-Michigan EECS 332, 电磁学的第二门.
因为是高年级的课了, 女生已经寥寥无几.

在观察到她其实没有男友, 和她随意说过几次话以后,
这班上的一个亚裔同学 -- 我们就叫他小蓝好了 -- 也动心了.
但他有贼心没贼胆, 只是在情人节前夕给她写了一封匿名的电子邮件,
信里提到她在课堂上的一些镜头, 一些赞许之词,
婉转表达爱慕, 紧张, 期盼的心情.

google了一下，老朱是唯一一个有多个赛季passing超5000yd的队员，有五次，而且有
三个赛季连续，最多的一次比Manning的单季记录只少了1 yard. Simply amazing.

似乎，2008年以后出的车都有隐患，跟2000年前的质量不可同日而语。
我家的这辆丰田佳美LE， 是我找到第一份工作贷款买的，应该是2000年8月份。当时，
我认识的所有中国人都买这款佳美，LE. 售价在1万8千左右。
10年当中，这车当作上下班交通车，行程有11万迈，等同于17.6万公里。一般3个月换
次油，5年换次胎。其他的就没有修理过。
直到最近一个月左右，自要一起动，仪表盘上出现很多可疑的故障显示。如下图：
1） 引擎指示灯亮
检查过机油，机油很低。去换了机油后，灯还是亮。
引擎故障灯- 用电脑诊断后是P1780, neutral safety switch
和尾灯故障，倒车故障一起显示.
2） 尾灯指示亮
所有尾灯都没坏，觉得这是误报。
3） 倒车显示亮
只要是一刹车，倒车显示就亮。倒车灯，刹车灯都没怀。但奇怪的是，倒车并刹车时，
只有刹车灯亮，松开刹倒车时，倒车灯亮。
虽然这么多故障显示灯亮了，但是车照开，发动机听起来很健康。我倒无所谓，老婆很
是紧张，催我修去。

layoff,还好公司只是在两个月前fire了两个performance差的同事。
唉，自己工作也不是太上心，五个月前的review工资才加了8千，心里还一直嘀嘀咕咕
的呢。
周三下午从洗手间回自己cubile的路上，明明开见Dave从横向走过来，眼看着就会碰到
，然而他停了下来歪着脖子瞅着一台别人的电脑，好像是有意要避开我的样子，细小的
动作平时可能不代表什么，可是现在这个多事的时节...不去多想了。
周四，一天都挺忙的，我们这个project的人都被赶着写文档，忙是忙，可也只是体力
劳动...一天无事...下午三点多的时候，会议室好像开始挺有规律的有人走进走出，刚
开始没人注意，可是几下以来我们心里都明白是怎么回事了，HR Drew 和 Dave 一个一
个地在和员工会谈，Dave坐镇会议室，Drew 一个一个地在叫人，管好门，谈一会，然
后Drew陪着那人出来回到那人的座位，那人就静静地整理自己的东西，然后Drew陪同他
走到电梯口礼节性的告别... 我当时脑子嗡的一下：最担心的还是来了-- lay |

一直以来都是看AL(美联 )的队，去过LA，Oakland, 西雅图和波士顿等地看比赛，喜欢
程度依次为波士顿红袜，西雅图水手，洛杉矶的天使再到奥克兰的运动家。波士顿队里
的队员，无论是投手，击球员还是接手，差不多每一个我都喜欢。34号BigPapi就不用
说了，那是大家都喜爱的HR杀手。而那个进队没有几年的Jacoby，跑垒时的忘我奔命速
度真可与水手队的Ichiro有一比！ 尤其他是从我们州去的，fan的程度自然会带有更多
主观色彩。☺ 还要提一下，那个”closer” 投手Papelbon，觉得他与水手队的
J.J Putz也不相上下，最喜欢看那最后的精彩。
本来是想去西雅图看水手和红袜比赛的，但学校开始放假和父亲节的“crazy”(机场人
员语)，大早的航班就都满员，不想错过中午1点的开赛和保证当日回来，就选飞了凤凰
城，去看芝加哥白袜和亚利桑那响尾蛇的比赛。红袜没得看就看白袜吧，反正也没去过
亚利桑那，两全其美一下。

game for Lin. The Lakers let Lin play more of his game when he came in after
5 minutes in the first (either that or he just did it) and it looked
perfectly fluid with Kobe out there. We ran a lot more mix of high screens
for him to attack off, and he also pushed the pace at times. He was calling
plays, making sure he found Nick when he was hot. It just doesn’t seem that

我刚来美国时，那个喜剧电视还是天天放的。
里面有一集，是DREW因为长期不交地税，房子被政府收走然后拍卖。
后来DREW那些红脖子朋友/邻居，在拍卖现场团结起来帮助他，阻止了正常拍卖，让他
低价拿回了房子。
