谢谢wh的信息，这是一个非常适合带小孩子去的一个活动。
在活动现场还有一些蹦床之类的活动，小魔术表演，以及一些厂家商店的简易展台。可
以拿一些免费的样品，或者孩子们喜欢的小东西之类。还有几家快餐店提供简易的快餐
，当然还有一辆买冰激凌的车。
具体活动过程是这样，如果愿意参加比赛的话，可以注册一只或更多的小黄鸭，（每只
5美元），在小黄鸭的背上写着编号。然后被放入一个大装卸车的抓斗里。
然后，在两点的时候，车开到Wepawaug River上游的石桥上将鸭子倒入Wepawaug River
河里。
奋勇前行的小黄鸭，
有一对鸭子爸爸妈妈也过来找孩子，
这一群落队的鸭子挤在一起，叽叽喳喳的商量着应该往那边去找妈妈。
在终点，只留了一个小口，这样只让一只鸭子通过，好分出个先后，照片中的人们忙碌

Wood Duck和鸳鸯是鸳鸯属(Aix genus)里仅有的两个物种。两个物种的雄鸟那么不同，
但又都是那么好看。想一想如果Aix也和鸭属(Anas genus,包括Mallard, blackduck,
shovelers 等等)一样全球好几十种，迁徙季节去池塘可以一次看见十几种，鸭子风景
线就更美丽了。 |

严格说来，美国南部有一种野生的Muscovy Duck，跟这种家禽应该不是一个亚种。

按Kaufman Field Guide to Advanced Birding的说法，更应从羽毛的pattern来判别，
Mottled Ducks应该有"internal pale markings"。这几张照片反差不是很好，除了第
三张是侧面，其它也没有怎么显示羽毛的pattern，所以很难说。
有没有清楚一点的侧面照？ |
