the end of Nov 2009, in order to get the $8k credit. However,
during the closing process, on Nov 6 or 7, the $8k credit was

order。

从Calgary的成品油储藏中心出来，Dude-walkby已经有十八个小时没有怎么休息过。从
十七岁他第一次来到温哥华开始，他就一直对这两个相距八百公里的城市之间的气候差
异而感到惊奇。现在这个时候，Calgary已经下了两场雪了，而温哥华却只是秋雨涟涟
。因为下雪，穿越落矶山脉的一号横加高速公路更难走了，十二个小时的车程往往得跑
上二十来个钟头。特别是像他开的这种后面拖两节油罐的trailer，就得更加小心。每
次他出车，他那个跟他差不多胖的老婆总要关照一句：“Drive smart, and don’t f*

不知道它是关于什么的、作者是何许人也。
读了几页之后，我简直不知道它在说什么，连我这种沉稳、木讷的人都有些烦躁和准备
放弃了。一度我甚至以为自己找错了书，误读了名字极其相近的另一本书。
坚持了三分之一之后，我慢慢融入到作者的故事中去。于是感到此书确实值得一读。在
美国，据说这本书是被极力推荐给家长和中学生的。
故事梗概
本书基本上没什么重要的故事线索。作者用第一人称的方式讲述了他自己如何被自己的
中学开除、如何回家、自己的想法、周围人的反应。总而言之，生活琐事、一地鸡毛。
一种生活态度
有这么一种生活态度：看着谁都不顺眼、所有人都那么虚伪，包括自己；有先例可循的
事情非要反过来做，比如把领带绑在头上、裤裆耷拉到膝盖；瞧不起别人，自己又没本
事去担当；内心脆弱，但是基本善良；经常恶搞，但基本没有恶意。
我把这种生活叫做dude的生活态度。
注意，这里说的是dude生活态度，而不是生活方式。dude态度可以脱离现实而仅仅存在
心中，偶尔在现实生活中露一下头。而在非dude的现实生活中完全展开dude的生活方式

一部电影，一两个点，把事儿说细，说透，才有意思，算是有点质量的休闲。你这个回

dude:我没读过小说，所以只能从电影方面理解，只能从科恩兄弟说事儿。不过听起来
小说很有意思。科恩兄弟的黑色幽默我觉得这老无所依里也还是有的，但不像以前那么
直露。这哥儿俩也年纪大了。
re：电影几乎是严格按小说来的，连好多台词都几乎一字不差，我是电影出来当年跟风
看了一遍，到现在看小说都能想起台词来。但是电影拍得真好，演员选的特别好，Moss
，Chigurh，老警长，甚至喋喋不休的杀手同行，就是Moss老婆我完全没印象了。小说
改电影是件挺tricky的事儿，有些不如原著，有些超过原著，这部片子特别恰当，当然
这个小说几乎就是按剧本的路子来的，所以2005年出版，2007年电影就出来了。
dude:还是拿Fargo做对照。Fargo虽然经典，但里面的人物塑造还是会有漫画化的倾向

dude：若想更好理解这个片子，我建议应该和科恩兄弟早年经典Fargo（冰雪暴）对着
看。
re：电影说到底，毕竟是导演的作品，特别是科恩兄弟的更是明显的带有他们的风格，
所以解读电影，确实应该从他俩以前的一些片子入手，不过不知道是不是麦卡锡气场太
大，这部片子同样有着明显的编剧的影响，而科恩兄弟招牌式的黑色幽默并不多，我读
到现在，唤起当初看电影的记忆，好些台词直接就是书里原文。好莱坞这帮人，似乎对
麦卡锡有点崇拜，除了这个，The Road的电影改编，血色子午线的改变失败，等等，不
在这展开了。
dude：Fargo里也是罪恶像酵母一样膨胀。但恶棍还是很菜鸟，无论是发起整个事件的
女婿，
还是两个绑匪，都还是可以被搞定的那种。最后也的确在茫茫白雪中被怀孕女警官给收
拾掉了。
