duke：ap，像rising start，有丰富计算经验。好处是计算技能得到提升，能多
出文章。担心的是将来ap的推荐信不给力。
penn：正教授，chair，但是不懂太多计算的东西。
好处是老板算小有名气，干得好的话推荐信管用。坏处是计算全靠我自己，可能从技术
上没有太大提高。
求分析加入哪个组会比较好。 |

millions behind (volume is >300 million per year). Do USC need to triple its
research fund to surpass duke? come on, USC research volume is clearly in the

Maybe you don't know, >85% of USC graduate students are Master students.
and those Master students generally don't have RA support and not participate
research activity. For example, each year, USC engineering graduate about 70-
80 Ph.D., but >1100 Engineering masters. you can count the ratio.
You should compare with federal funding /(faculty+PhD.students)...I think USC
probably win out duke or maybe close.

最近，北美多家华人媒体披露了我校Tang Zihui同学指历史系教授歧视一事。自7
月初知悉该事件以来，DCSSA一直尽努力帮助Tang Zihui同学，包括致函校方表达深切
关注并要求校方展开深入调查。日前，DCSSA通过advisor王小凡教授与校方继续沟通，
希望该事件得到圆满解决。目前，该事件正在进一步处理之中。
