今天太太去学校做volunteer，一进门就看见儿子和那个小孩把衣服都反着穿，在play
silly。做完volunteer，太太问老师他们俩的behavior有没有改善，老师露出很难为情
的样子，意思就是没有任何改善。
我们该怎么办呢？是不是要告诉小孩，会定期问老师，如果做得不好就有惩罚，例如取

I am a postdoc with J1 and J1 waiver is done. I am about to switch to H1b. I
was told paying an extra $1200 could shorten the process in weeks,
otherwise it will take 3-5 months.
What I should do? The only thing could be mattering if I did not pay that $
1200 is, I might have problem when I travel back to China during the H1b
pending.

2005/08 transferred to F1.
and now working in a company using OPT. Does this guy need to pay SS tax
and Medicaid tax?

the treaty. Any expert on this?

school and change her major. She is with H1b now, and it is good until 2014.
The ISS office told her that if she files change of status from h1b to f1,
it would take 2-3 months and once she gets receipt from USCIS, she is not
allowed to work under H1B.

or the change of status will abandon the H-4 application?

我是STEM 专业，在一个nonprofit 的机构工作，OPT EAD 在2016年4月23日过期，我在
2015年12月14日提交了OPT extension 的延期，于是悲剧从这一天就开始了。 USCIS
规定不能在EAD过期的120天之前申请，我提交那天是EAD过期日之前的131天。
在提交申请的时候，我询问过学校的international office 需要准备什么材料，学校
的DSO 没有提醒过120天这个时间窗口，另外我自己也确实不知道 (怪自己功课没做足)
， 另外我们学校的很多朋友也不知道120天这个时间窗口限制，只是他们没有遇到过这
个问题。（所以学校的international office 确实也不太认真，至少没有在120天时间
窗口这个事情上对学生做好功课）。再次一定要提醒大家注意这个问题： 只能在EAD过
期前的120天之内申请，提前1天都不行！！！
