在硅谷大家非常热情的谈创业谈机会，我也通过自己的一些观察和积累，看到了不少最
近几年涌现的热门创业公司。我给大家一个列表，这个是华尔街网站的全世界创业公司
融资规模评选（http://graphics.wsj.com/billion-dollar-club/）。它本来的标题是billion startup club，我在去年国内讲座也分享过，不到一年的时间，截至到2015年1月17日，现在的排名和规模已经发生了很大的变化。首先，估值在10Billlon的达到了7家，而一年前一家都没有。其次，第一名是中国人家喻户晓的小米，第三，前20名中，绝大多数（8成在美国，在加州，在硅谷，在旧金山！）比如Uber, Airbnb, Dropbox, Pinterest. 第四 里面也有不少相似模式成功的，比如Flipkart就是印度市场的淘宝，Uber与Airbnb都是共享经济的范畴。所以大家还是可以在移动(Uber)，大数据（Palantir），消费级互联网，通讯(Snapchat)，支付(Square)，O2O App里面寻找下大机会。这里面很多公司我都亲自面... 阅读全帖 |

如小米，联想等这些国内公司的市值， 一群人在网上分析各种原因， 老衲作为L的前
员工， 觉得这其实原因没有那么复杂， 其实很简单， 就是L里面很多manager不会做
业务，也不想好好做业务。
怎么讲呢？ 举个简单的例子， 去年大概3-4月的某个时候， L主管技术的一个VP给工
程师群发了一个邮件，表示以后不再继续用Scala开发了，重新转回使用Java. 不到
两年时间里面，程序设计语言就变了两次。 一会儿必须用Scala, 不用不行； 一会儿
不让用Scala, 用了不行。 这真是”NZND“的最好注解。 要知道， L家的招聘是非常
偏向java的。 多年以来一直沿用的招聘和出题流程， 给公司积累了大量的java背景的

还有什么可说的。
我不是说了要有product和product metadata service吗？自己体会一下，现在图片都
是存S3，front一个cdn，这点简单常识就不要拿出来唬人了。
ordering service我也说到了啊，transaction history不能查的是什么ordering
service？
另外，电商系统我见得多了，国内小破电商用mysql的多了去了。
钻牛角尖提一些自以为很难的问题总是简单的，我还是建议你多看看实际work的
production system代码。 |

believe they simply use S3, not their own bake. It's not their interests to
run and maintain a storage backend. Apple doesn't have too much experince of
running these dirty jobs.
Azure's IAAS offering has been a hybrid between PAAS and IAAS. It releases
classic IAAS pretty late. But its storage story is much better. Azure
storage table is a pioneer in its market. Amazon only got DynamoDB this

还在犹豫：
语言上C#强于Java；
框架上MVC的ASP更易用，
但是JAVA的基于开源的生态系统已经很强大，
大公司都在用，找工作前景很不错。
感觉上java和j2EE的是中大公司搞，
C#和ASP是中小公司搞或者非IT的大公司。
可以看出来薪水还是有点差别的，平均来说。
