发帖数: 70028 | 1 今年5月20日，英国星期天《泰晤士报》刊登评论员文章，对中国在英国举办孔子学院充满敌对态度。该文章引用伦敦政治经济学院著名政治和外交学教授Christopher Hughes对孔子学院的强硬和冷战的言辞（见附件2， 英文原文）， 在英国引起一场不小的震动。
5月24日，美国国务院以签证为由，要求孔子学院中国教师限期离境,引起全美数十家孔子学院，以及和孔子学院合作的大学，一片哗然。
把这两件事情连系起来，不难看出，中国利用孔子学院向全球传播文化和语言，被西方一些右翼分子，当成是中国政府宣传软实力的工具。
作为英方的孔子学院院长，我对这个问题，也是感到非常困惑和震惊。
为什么，中国政府诚心诚意地花钱推广中国的文化和语言，会遇到如此想不到的打击和阻碍？中国政府应该如何对付这样的打击？如何应对今后更加意想不到的困难？
本人认为，中国政府应该做好如下工作：
其一，保持冷静的态度，认真研究对方各种持不同观点和态度的人群，采取有效措施，争取亲华力量，尽量化解冷战思维人士的冷战态度。

经历的比较多不同的学生。
我给你PM另一篇报道吧 写到了一些我的想法。
个人兴趣爱好我对public sector的感兴趣 过去几年再NYC做过的，接触的也都是非营利
组织。 个人对金融领域的东西没感觉，虽然是数学的学位和物理的minor。 工程这个
到现在我也没明白 是个什么东西。 CS的话 我更笨了 一点都不会，Cal 3 时候绑定的
matlab 我是一点都没学会，作业都是同学帮忙来的。
research这个 我是认为teaching是一个很应用的东西，这个fellowship卖身契一签就是
5年 我想自己先教教书 有我自己的班级，以后有机会的再读一个Education Administr
ation 或者Education leadership 这些都要求至少3年的工作经验，和MBA差不多的意思
。 校长们也都是从基层的老师做起的。教完这几年 看看 能再有人提供学费的话可以考

整体感觉Buchanan是非常有能力，有思想的理智的议员。她说自己喜欢动手搜集数据来
帮助决策。是数据让她决定不支持 SCA-5。让我不禁想起不做功课，按党派，随大流，
不经大脑听信法案推动者的谗言就胡乱投票的某些华裔议员。看来选议员也不能看肤色
，而应该搞清楚议员如何做决策。
因为SCA-5的核心是想解决加州教育的问题，Buchanan说不能把一个种族的入学名额划
给另一个种族。而应该从根本的两方面入手。
第一是提高基础教育K-12 education 的质量，提高高中毕业率，让更多的毕业生能达
到大学入学标准。
第二是扩张加州大学的规模，让所有合格的高中毕业生能进入大学，而不是无意义的竞
争有限的教学资源。她提到在加州学生人口翻番的时间段里，加州只添加了一所加州校
园。搞得加州公立大学不必要的变成了竞争激烈的名校。
对SCA-5, 她认为因为争议分歧很大，暂时众议院不会推动表决，会搁置下来。但是从

螺旋式課程（Spiral Curriculum）
為美國心理學家布魯納（J.S.Bruner）所提出，是指根據某一學科知識結構的「概念結
構」，以促進學生的認知能力發展為目的一種課程設計。Bruner認為如果能尊重成長中
兒童的思想方法，並有足夠的興趣將材料內容轉化成適合兒童的認知形式，就可以把各
種觀念和方法提早交給兒童。所以，螺旋式課程的基本假設是，任何教材都可以某種合
理形式來教給任何發展階段的兒童。
依據布魯納教育理論而設計的「人的研究」，是「螺旋式課程」組織形態的最佳代表，
合乎課程組織的繼續性、順序性、統整性與銜接性等規準。其課程組織的順序，首先是
學生學會探究比較單純的生活形態，如狒狒與愛斯基摩人。
螺旋式課程提供了一套具有邏輯先後順序的概念組合，讓學生在一至兩年期間，學習探
索一套逐漸加深加廣的複雜概念實例。例如，生命週期、適應、自然選擇、社會組織、

n)示威活动，3月4日全美数以万计的学生、教师和家长走出了课堂、上街游行，以抗议
各级政府削减教育经费及校方调涨学费。
由于加州政府连年的赤字问题在经济危机的影响下愈演愈烈，加州学校所遭遇的经费削
减尤其严重，很多公立学校不得不通过减少课程、解雇教师和提高学费来保证收支平衡

我个人建议你最好和他们取得联系，和他们说明你的case 他们会给你详细的建议的！
虽然你是在中国读的师范，但是你是要在美国教书，还是有一些差别的，可能你需要一
些教育的课程 应该也是避免不了的
就像当年我想参加一个上海师范大学的summer program，我们学校secondary educatio
n的头就和我说，你这以后是要教美国的孩子，你去中国的话都是中文教学的形式，如果
你去英国 abroad一下 也学学回来的学分我们还可以考虑一下算上！
一般中小学对教育课的要求比较严格，具体的一些要求的课程都有明确的方向的。
很多学校也有certificate的program，针对中小学教育的，你不需要拿一个MA 或者Ed
M的 你只需要完成相应的课程和fieldwork 通过考试 拿取 certificate~~我个人感觉
这类certificate的program要看学分多少，如果没差几个就是一个学位了 那为啥不再拿
一个master呢！
