我觉得两个词可以互译，表达起来也比较方便，但是也不是完全等同，
是否因为英文里很难找一个完全等同的单词表达“我执”这个概念。
ego的本意应该说是个名词，而“我执”是倒装的动词+名词（执着某东西-ego-为我），
个人理解：
ego等同于5蕴的某些表现形式，而我执是“执认五蕴（ego）为我”的迷惑。
在这个世界上，没有ego是不能活的，但是如果不迷的话，不会执着ego为自我。
大乘讲”即蕴离蕴”，应该就是说，虽然有ego,但是不被ego所迷，这样就算是明白人。
而人们把“ego是最大的敌人”翻译成“我执是最大的敌人”的时候，也是对的，
因为他们的意思是让人认识这个ego,
认识了ego,自然就破除了迷惑，而不会执着ego为自我，也就破了我执。
所谓战胜“自我”，其实就是认识了ego,破除了ego引发的迷惑。
普通人虽然读禅宗，但是如果不修行，那肯定还是活在ego里而不自知，
自称是即蕴离蕴，那是口头禅。 |

因为ego在英文里本来确实有“我”的含义，当人们这样认取ego的时候，

如果用英文来说我执,是否可以,persist of self, or I.

looks impressive, especially the dual-battery mode.
also, blowing fresh snow is relatively easy for any snow blower. my biggest
challenge was to clean the hill blocking my driveway made by the street plow
truck. the hill can be 3 ft tall, made of all compressed snow, very heavy.
even with my Ariens 24, I had to chew it bit by bit. I suppose the only way
for EGO to clean that is to use both batteries. that will be a real test.
