but the best grades for all levels of state-wide elementry school exams were
obtained at Englewood Cliffs.
Followed by Tenafly and Alpine
Fort Lee has installed a few You Tai Ren principals and they have moved up
by A LOT in recent years, in terms of elementary school results.

Also based on my memory, there was a referal quota from the top elementry
schools in Shanghai. My cousin got the referal from her elementry school and
took a special entrance exam.
Most of her peers were like her. They attended the school when they were 12
or 13 and spent 7 yrs there. |

private elementry以及shopping mall. 学校都是很好, 小区里基本没有噪音.
我觉得好处是非常方便,但是上学放学时间可能有些堵(也其他路可走,估计能避开一些
traffic).
大家觉得有什么好处和坏处? |

，好像只有Washington Elementry 各项都不错。可是这个学校只接受抽签！而且我刚
刚错过了 新入学的 K 的抽签日期！！欲哭无泪呀！
请教下Rochester 有没有其他还不错的小学（私立公立都可以），这样我们可以明年再
碰碰运气。或者有什么办法能上到 Washington Elementry 那是更好。

发帖数: 724 | 7 比较同意这位同学的看法,FC最差的是东北角,有机场跟92桥两处噪音来源.西边的那片
有些TH可以听到101或是HILLSDALE的噪音,所以最近卖的一个水景TH,"只"卖到了122.最
好的应该是中间跟西南边属于FOSTER CITY ELEMENTRY的房子.噪音小,小学全新,购物交
通都方便.WINSTON那片的TH今年真是涨疯了,去年4BED,才100万,现在已经奔140去了.那
里是FC的中心位置,FC ELEMENTRY小学,离哪里都近,小区环境好,HOA相当低. 基本是出
来一个抢一个,没看到任何SLOW DOWN的趋势.说FC卖不动了肯定是不了解具体情况.我反
倒是觉得今年涨的更厉害.非水景房都超过两米了. |

sneaked out to join the parades. And when there was no public traffic, how
could people even come to work? There was definitely little productivity and

是也可能有一点机会成本。另外，租房多年，现在要有小孩了，有个小房子可能有点家
的感觉？ （想法比较天真）
新手买房。这里的学区是ELEMENTRY (8,9)/MIDDLE 10/HIGH 10. 还算好吧？交通是很
方便的。
不足之处是社区一般，住的退休老人比较多，可能也有租客。这里房子转手次数比较多
。我们这个区这种类型的房子很少，多是SINGLE FAMILY HOUSE 和比较新的TOWNHOUSE,
价格远远高于这个。所谓一分钱一分货吧。 |

But there was no way for the grandpa to follow her into the lady's room.
Plus the girl was already 8-10yrs old, not 3-4 yrs. Did you go to the opposite sex's rest room when you were 10yrs old? I bet if you did, you'd have been kicked out and laughed at. As far as I can remember, once we started elementry school, anyone who went into the other sex's rest room could be laughed at and punished. |

mold problem，八月份开学后，全校分成四块儿，在其他小学和中学上课，预计年底学
校能清理好，学生们可以返校上课。
其他和oak ridge elementary“并列”的，有summerfield elementry, E.P.Pearce
Elementary， colfax。 summerfield和oak ridge一样，是个比较老，口碑一直也很好
的小学。Pearce在summerfield, 是个新学校。Colfax虽然也是个greatschools rating
=10的学校，culture不很好，建议不去。
来Greensboro，住在northern, northwest area，学校一般都不会错，上面的几个学校
全在北边。北边还有一个新学校，northern，听说也很好。不过，我总是喜欢那种“历
史”上都好的。
另外西北区的中学也是Greensboro最好的。－－虽然号称是北卡最好的高中The Early College，不在西北，但 |

Even Vernon Hills high school is pretty good, just not as good as Stevenson.
If you want to live new house, check are north of Townline rd (Rt 60), along
Gregg Parkway. Hundreds of homes build after 2000, beautiful, but those
belong to Vernon Hills High. |

I am living in the area you are refering to. This is used to be Westfield,
but the city line was re-clasified and now it is officially part of carmel.
Schools are very good ( College wood elementry is the best one). You could
buy a new home within your budget here. 400k, 4BR, Full Basement, 3 door
grage, about 4000 SQ feet. |
