village of elitists。Scarsdale恰恰相反，是犹太人的大本营，犹太人很多，亚裔也
有相当比例(日印台居多，大陆的最近多起来)，也很snobbish，但没有Bronxville那么
夸张，毕竟比较diversified了。Rye也是WASP居绝对多数，少数犹太人，没前两个那么
snobbish。Edgemont在westchester亚裔比例最高，很diversified，没有前几个那么多
的有钱人。Chappaqua也是比较mixed的town，犹太人也不少，也有人说是north
Scarsdale。这几个town的public school同属westchester的first tier，基本上没什

前一阵子看见又有新的荷马史诗的英译本出版，比较而言，中文翻译就没有那么勤，很

气卖命地大喊大叫，这时我才猜到他准备自由落体了。虽已做好充分思想准备，等看到他
