发帖数: 20 | 1 Caleb 和Elli现在已经来我家快一个月了，他俩都算乖，不抓东西咬东西之类的，也会
用litter box，对人也非常友好。
Caleb的年龄换算成人的年龄的话，大概有36岁了，相比Elli就是成熟稳重些，像个有
教养的绅士，走路、吃饭、喝水都举止优雅，Elli就更像个莽撞不修边幅的小伙子。拿
喝水这事来说，他俩都喜欢在水盆里洗洗爪子，舔舔干净爪子，然后再喝水，Caleb会
把掌心朝上，轻轻拂起一点水，慢慢舔干净，Elli是掌心朝下，像刨土一样使劲把水往
外扒 (-_-!!!) 然后也不舔爪子，就湿着喝水，有时甚至是把一只爪子放在水盆里，另
一只爪子扒水。Caleb走路挺胸昂首，妙曼踱步；Elli走路虎背熊腰。
给他们买了些玩具，毛球啊，老鼠形状的娃娃啊之类的，都不爱玩，唯一感兴趣的是钓
鱼杆，棍上栓根绳子，绳子一头系个铃铛啊羽毛啥的，拖着棍子在地上走，俩猫都追着
跑的不亦乐乎。相比之下，Elli更爱玩一些，可能因为年轻些。还有，Caleb正玩着时
如果Elli凑过来，Caleb一定走开，不知道是让着Elli还是不屑于跟他玩。白天我不在
家，就把他们关在我卧室，他俩就睡觉，也不跟彼 |

最近得悉，著名心理學家 Albert Ellis 於七月以超過九十二歲的高齡與世長辭了。
Ellis 是一個非常多產而且富有活力的心理學家，就是過了九十歲他仍繼續寫作。我自
己也是在大概兩年前才認識他的「理情行為治療法 (Rational Emotive Behavioral
Therapy, 簡稱 REBT )」。這個方法，對我來說是一種震撼。理由之一是因為這種方法
真是非常簡單，而且有效。REBT 的方法，是一種從眼前發生的事件(event)，然後捉緊
當前內心的感覺(feeling)。即它非常強調引起強烈情緒的事件，並利用這些誘發事件
(activating events)，來發掘我們背後所帶有的信念 (belief)。通常我們感到不開心
，並不是因為外間的事件所致，而是自己內心怎樣演繹。所以「他令我很憤怒」是不對
的，因為「他（或他的行為）」不可能令你憤怒，而是我們自己帶有一些信念，並用這
些信念來演繹「他」的行為。最後，是「信念」令一個人憤怒。

西州.原因是早年商定岛屿属于纽约,周围水域属于新泽西.后来填海造地,新的土地所以

终于登上了轮渡。这个小岛和自由mm岛隔水相望，是这个这个...古时候
的海关。各国移民来这里要通过道道关卡才能登上这块大陆。
岛上现在有个移民博物馆，不过没什么心思参观馆藏，只是瞪着眼睛
看见有趣的东西就咔嚓一下。
上一次去是在三年前的冬天，如今岛上依然如旧，只是远处的天际线

在博物馆里东张西望拍了些照片之后，看到的唯一有点意思
是mind test的展台。那些可怜的新移民在经过昏天黑地的长途
旅行之后，要被测试他们的大脑是否"nothing right at the left
and nothing left at the right"
他们被要求画出shape of diamond, 结果是大大小小有着四条边
的图形，假如放到MOMA说不定就成了一副价值连城包含文化底蕴的名作....
更有意思的是这样一道题，问你洗刷楼梯的时候你是从上往下刷还是
从下往上刷？你猜一位被试者怎么回答？他说道，俺来美国又不是来刷楼梯嘀。 |

关门，娃们学不到多少，主要靠afterschool，api低主要劳模多一点，但是从小让孩子
expose多一些variety其实也没啥。 |
