We did 签证 last year with agent on the upper levle of chinese embassey
visa office.
It worked for us. |

2008. When I talked with them, they just said it was up to the embassey, and
they did not have any clue.
So if you have plenty of time, you may try. |

发帖数: 163 | 3 1. I was in japan for a conference previously and had transit visa. shore
pass is only for 72 hours stop and I don't think it's acceptable for
conference attendance purpose. you can mail all the required materials to
japan embassey in us and get the visa back in about 7 days.
2. a valid return visa to us is required for a transit visa to japan. not
sure how you can apply for a japan visa in china though.
3. for sure. about $200-400 more expensive. |

have to upload their DIGITAL passport photos. Is this a new rule? Why can'
t US Embassey accept the physical photos as they did before?? |

发帖数: 542 | 5 I guess you can contact the local chinese embassey and ask them,
but I guess it should be fine for you guys to get done in USA.
For my case, my wife was in china, and I was in canada,
I just wrote a letter saying I agree to divorse, but I
can not go back to china and appear in the court ...
so I got it done in that way, hope it helps. |
