人数学家张益唐的专访。这个只于2001年低调地发表过一篇论文的男人，在2010投入研
究“素数间隔”时，已经55岁了。他不需要通讯录，因为那些数字都在他脑子里；他不
在意职称，觉得交际是浪费时间，但他讲座精彩且毫不炫耀聪明；他论证了“存在无数
对相邻素数（质数），它们的差相差不过7000万”，令学界惊讶。2013年，当他在《数
学年刊》上发表《素数间的有界距离》时，只是一位默默无闻的讲师。

2013年5月，张益唐在纯粹数学领域知名刊物《数学年刊》上发表《素数间的有
界距离》，证明了存在无数多个素数对（p, q），其中每一对素数之差，即p和q的距离
，不超过七千万。从此，来自新罕布什尔大学的一位默默无闻的大学讲师（现为教授）
，进入了人们的视野。
纯粹数学（基础数学）是一门研究数学本身，不以实际应用为目的的学问。相

YHWH但是，那是希伯来文被翻译称希腊文的词。新约中是没有YHWH的，用的都是Lord和
God。

通过对这些报告名单进行统计分析ICM 2014做1小时报告和45钟报告的名单，结果表
明：
ICM2014一小时大会报告共邀请了21位数学家，其中美国10位，法国3位，英国2位，
日本、韩国、瑞士、比利时、加拿大、意大利等国家各1位。
美国10位被邀请做一小时报告的数学家中，有5位是来自俄罗斯和东欧（匈牙利、捷
克）的数学家，目前都在美国一流大学（麻省理工学院、加州大学伯克利分校、普林斯
顿大学等）任职，还有3位分别来自伊朗、法国和英国。有2位在麻省理工学院、加州大
学伯克利分校任教的数学家（Alexei Borodin和Vera Serganova）都毕业于莫斯科大学
。这从一个侧面反映了苏联解体以后，俄罗斯的人才流失非常严重。另外，来自美国本
土的数学家只有2位。
ICM2014上做45分钟分组报告的有近200人，其中华裔和中国数学家共有14人，分别是张
益唐、方复全、李涛、林长寿、沈维孝、魏军城、尤释贤、舒其望、袁亚湘、雍炯敏、

On the p-adic cohomology of the Lubin-Tate tower

We prove a finiteness result for the p-adic cohomology of the Lubin-Tate
tower. For any n>=1 and p-adic field F, this provides a canonical functor
from admissible p-adic representations of GL_n(F) towards admissible p-adic
representations of Gal_F x D^*, where Gal_F is the absolute Galois group of
F, and D/F is the central division algebra of invariant 1/n.
