要回答这几个问题,就必须看到电子计算机产业未来十年的发展趋势,这个产业走过了童
年起,青年期,
现在进入的中年期.标志性特点就是技术创新减缓,大公司的增长率下降,为了保持成长,
只有一条路,
并购. 大鱼吃小鱼,小鱼吃虾米,电子计算机产业十年之后,系统级可能只剩下两三个大
家伙.垂直分
工可能就不存在了,剩下的就是零部件生产厂家,作用就是像汽车零件产业.
汽车业最后剩下三家,通用,伏特,克莱斯勒, 航空制造业,波音,麦道,最后剩一家, 波音.

传说要install driver for emulex lightpulse 2142 sr fiber channel hba. 但 hp
跟本就不支持 debian， 我也跟不就没
装任何driver. 但还是不确定， 莫非 debian 2.6.26 kernal 带有 这 emulex 2142
driver?

解一下Avago的实际情况。网上有人说Emulex 60%的人都被裁了。如果是这样，基本上
就是维持现有产品和近期合同而已。看了一眼Avago的job opening，电路方面的
position印度居多。San Jose只有几个。Colorado的应该不是电路的。很难想象
Broadcom被收购以后的状况。谢谢 |

You may have seen others reply. And I agree with emulex's comment, this sounds
very personal.
I does not have time to go over this in detail, but when you give facts, you
need to be more specific. What files are deleted, when did it happen, whoever
reported, etc.
If I have time later today, I will comment more on it. Also, on the individual
issues, I definitely suggest you work with guy on those issues first. Keep a
good record of what you tried, what he tried, what are the |

国时间5月28日发表声明正式宣布双方已达成合并协议， 而收购金额创下史上新高，总
价达370亿美元(约1.1兆新台币)；这桩合并案将在未来催生一家市值770亿美元、年营
收达150亿美元的“多元化通讯半 导体供应商”，铁定能在全球前十大IC业者排行榜上
占有一席之地。
根据双方最终协议，Avago将以170亿美元现金，以及约1.4亿股的 Avago普通股进行交
易──以Avago在2015年5月27号的股票收盘价计算、总价约200亿美元──此收购案总

看看都有谁在做FCoE吧:
Cisco, HP, IBM, Juniper, Brocade, Emulex, QLogic,
Broadcom,
Storage side : EMC , HP, IBM ,
Cisco 早就抛弃 iSCSI了, 死是早晚的事儿.
另外, FCoE 是working at Data Center ,用来 replace Fibre
Channel. 和 End Device 没太大关系. End Device 还是跑
Internet, 只是文件系统和上层的应用要改动, 更好的利用Cloud.
对了,谁知道还有哪家大公司在做 iSCSI 呀? |
