些收获但是不大，不晓得ENAR会是怎么样？去过的同志们来讲讲ENAR吗？
据我理解到的是ENAR上出现的是bio方面的工作，但是不晓得适合fresh bio master的
多不？如果都是大药厂的话，我就没有啥戏了。有人晓得来的企业大多是来自哪里吗？
有研究机构不？上次去DC，CA来招人的太少了，失望中，如果这次CA还是没有来几家，
岂不是很郁闷。我想找CA某地的工作，我晓得限定来某地找确实很难，但是我确实不喜
欢和老公分来.
还有ENAR的career replacement的运作和JSM的一样不？

其他hotel了，所以去开会的应该都住那儿了。我定了3月12号的double beds的room，
希望找到一个女生室友可以share房费。一晚上总共是189＋tax+resort fee。

另外老板的travel funds自己用不掉，说phd第四年开始要我travel till I get sick
of it
求大牛推荐一下cancer genomics 相关的 conference/workshop
bioinformatics领域的也可以（副业搞得是chip-seq, structural variants
detection）
我现在打算要去的是：
1. AACR, Philadelphia April 2015
2. ASHG, Baltimore Oct 2015 (都花不了多少钱，学校在东北部)
3. EMBL cancer genomics, Germany November 2015 http://www.embl.de/training/events/2015/CAN15-01/index.html, 老板okay了这个会，但是具体咋样？)

要应该是找所有有可能的connection，通过内部递简历。其次就是参加JSM, ENAR之类
的会议，都会有找工作的session。我所有的面试都是通过JSM拿到的。
就面试内容来说，我觉得因为背景和研究方向的原因，每个人的面试内容和难度可能很
不一样，我还是不要误导大家了。 |

发帖数: 187 | 48 最近我们系有新的faculty opening，所以在海量的看简历，所以有几点小小感悟。自
己也是刚刚脱离job market，希望大家不再犯同样的错误或者我犯过的错误。
1.太technical的东西没必要列。看到一份韩国人简历，前面看起来还不错，到了后面
，赫然列了会用的SAS PROCEDURE，包括 proc ttest，proc reg之类的，立时对这位申
请人的quality estimate下降了好几度，连这个都列上，是不是说明申请人不strong啊
？我想其他recruiter可能会有同样的反应。
2.突出重点。海量浏览的时候，大概一份简历也就半分钟的时间，如何让recruiter多
花一点时间在你的简历上？个人觉得大家有责任让recruiter把最关心的几点简明清晰
的给出来，一眼看到。我觉得我最关心四点：本科哪里哪年毕业，博士哪里哪年，研究
兴趣和博士导师，第一作者身份发的methodoloy paper。可能还会扫一眼公认的重要奖
项，比如ASA,ENAR,LAHA AWARD。看到有的童鞋甚至把给过的poster都列上，在重要性
上有没有和发给的paper区分开 |
