just Fantasy although that is looking damn good all by itself. My Sci-Fi
list last year was only 7 books long, which grew a little with the year, but
it was so short I combined it with UR and Steampunk picks. This year Sci-Fi
warrants a post all its own with loads of debuts and returning stars. The

发帖数: 5461 | 22 第三章专辑“Absolution”分别于2003年9月和2004年3月在英国和美国出版，其中两首在美国上榜，终于在美国吸引了大批粉丝，全球巡回演唱会，也有美国的份了。在英国获得的好评，就更不用说了，又被N个权威杂志评选进21世纪最佳英伦专辑，虽然那时候21世纪还没过完呢。
这回，我终于跟权威们一致了//泪
我对这张专辑的痴迷程度，已经超越更出名的下一张。所以，这回推荐的曲目，更不能少！在都不错的前提下，我尽量省略。
这张有点概念专辑的意思，第一首是22秒的模仿行军队列声的“Intro”，好吧，这个可以没有。
第二首“Apocalypse Please”，上来就激情四溢，但不暴躁。画龙点睛的是24秒的那个“through”拖长发音，听着跟“呜呜呜”似的。我有几天大早醒来，脑子总是这段呜呜呜的旋律。1分14秒开始的间奏，颇令人忆起Pink Floyd “Dark Side of the Moon”狂奔那段。结尾处是交响风格，据说本来全歌都打算配这种背景，后来觉得too much而改掉了。

点歌剧似的伴唱。“Hopelessly I’ll love you endlessly”这句编曲编得，如深夜
街头，竖起风衣大领的孤独男子快步行走的感觉。
第十三首“Thoughts of a Dying Atheist”，本来想省略的，但有个亮点不得不提，
没错，就是1分6秒出现的“耶耶耶呜呜呜嗷嗷嗷”，赖得可爱。
第十四首“Ruled by Secrecy”，Muse想搞一首大气歌曲的野心昭然若揭。这种歌一般
在专辑最后，要够长，开头要尽量温柔，音乐柔和细腻，人声轻微深情，比如这首，有
几句跟Queen的“Who wants to live forever”很神似，然后渐渐配乐复杂，音量提高
，最后用交响乐把气氛烘托上去。不过，这首他们基本截止于钢琴了，没有太尽兴。
