i don't think because of overwork you'd get liver cirrhosis, but anyway,
for varices resulted from cirrhosis, need to take non-selective beta blocker
, to treat for bleeding, endoscopic banding or sclerotherapy,
sometimes TIPS is used for decompression of hepatic sinoids, it has pretty
good effect in preventing rebleed, but it does not decrease mortality, and
sometimes it increases it, so depends on the liver doctor he is seeing, may

The doc has his considerations or concerns for each case, but if only
because you are a little panic, he ordered an upper GI endoscopy for you,
that would be improper.

下面开始将我知道的事实：胰腺癌确诊基本都是晚期，因为很难发现，晚期了才开始疼
，之前没症状。死亡率是95%以上。如果没转移没晚期最好。
楼主赶快问你妈妈有什么未完成的愿望在有生之年赶快去实现吧。这个胰腺癌的
prognosis都是很难预计的呢。能治好最好，治不好也要有效利用剩下的时间。

negative. on the other hand, i would not say it's the best method. suspicion
of H. Pylori infection in and by itself is not sufficiently an indication
for endoscopic biopsy.
there are high virulence and low virulence strains. about 2/3 of infections
are by high virulence strains or a mix of high and low virulence strains. it
is not a routine to test for this. low virulence strains still cause some
pathological changes.

pancreas, but it's utterly wrong to think the pancreas should be the only
main focus.
CA19-9 is neither sensitive nor specific for pancreatic cancer. there have
been numerous guidelines and advisories on the diagnosis of pancreatic
cancers and the proper use of CA19-9.
