But how to read/match multiple lines conditionally?
e.g. a file contains certain lables:

Begin: zzz
aaa
bbb
Ene: ccc
ddd
I need the script to read/match multiple lines between the Begin/End
pair as a single string. But for other lines, just read
them one by one.
Is there any easy way to do this?

exchange should be done at -78 degree over 30 min. Then add dibromohexane
in THF dropwise at -78, and subsequent warming to rt.
Both Lithium halogen exchange and SN2 reaction (in this case) work better in
a polar solvent. There is no point of using hexanes. Do not use TMEDA which
might result in a deprotonation at the 5 position.
Side reactions: 1. elemination to form 5-bromopenta-1-ene. It is difficult
