不知道现在湾区的entry level phd contractor的市场价范围是多少？如果差不多就算
了。我也不跟他们费劲了，如果真是太低了，我就换个agency公司试试，反正工作也不
是他们帮着找到的。谢谢了。 |

位是Associated Software Engineer，特注明entry-level。现在他家急着要我答复是
否接受offer， 特来请教版上，这个所谓‘副码工’到底是个什么概念，和A家的所谓
SDE I是不是一个性质？
另外多问一句，这是一家金融公司的IT部门职位，今后会不会因为level不高，而申请
h1b遇到麻烦呢？

时间：找了3个多月才搞定
一点经过：
1. 先是准备简历，贴到ｉｎｄｅｅｄ，ｄｉｃｅ之类的网站上，还没有开始投简历就
有些小代理骚扰，没啥意思，只能说明ＣＳ真的是工作机会多多
2. 投简历，其实indeed上挺全的，他把很多公司的都找过来，所以最好调整搜索关键
词，不然投起来比较累，local的craigslist上有一些，不是很多，有些公司反复的贴
，估计要求很高
3. 英语，本人英语很烂，公司名字经常听不清，老美还好，烙印就很悲剧，不过还好
最后都会发信确认的，反正就一份简历，大概介绍完自己的project，人家就会问你都
会什么什么，具体说说某个project啦
4. programming language： 是个人都会java，没办法，收据信无数，最后只能找自己
并不熟悉的方面学习，然后加到简历上面去， front-end啊，QA啦都试过，刚开始面试
比较失败，后来就熟了，方向不要太分散，不然自己都没办法准备
5. opt挂靠：不是很靠谱，真正有项目要合同工的还是得要通过做这个项目的企业的面

历找工作，连个电话面试都没有。真是抓狂。希望版上好心人介绍一份entry level的
工作
以下两方面的工作：
1. 会计工作，国内会计专业毕业, 在德国oracle有半年的会计实习，但是quickbook什
么的都没有用过。前辈们指教一下湾区哪里学会计软件性价比比较高。
2. Financial Analyst工作，CFA2级通过了，博士期间拿的是大学的半职，做了3年的
research analyst，会理财建模， 熟练运用SPSS，Stata。
路过的给我打打气或者拍拍砖，我真是觉得10年大学白读了，到头来连个糊口的工作都
找不到，真是沮丧啊！ |

near grads and/or grads with some experience. Degrees may be Computer
Science, Computer Engineering and, possibly, even Electrical Engineering.
They must know Linux plus a coding language (JAVA, C++, etc.) Knowing a
scripting language would be great (Perl, Python, etc.)
