or the glamor more than academics. mit is at least equally as good as c
hicago. one thing i can think of is, chicago is notorious in its treatm
ent of junior professors. the record of not giving tenure and kicking p
eople out might have swayed some people's decisions.

作的好处是更加锻炼人,有的时候没有太多senior engineer 可以指导你,帮你,需要自己
更多的摸索学习.
但是工龄和PM没有必然的关系,有些人工作一辈子也还是project engineer,不过是leve
l升级.这有个人的原因,其本身的职业规划可能就是技术路线. 还有就是不具备良好的p
eople skill. 后面这点才是更大程度上限制老中的职业发展(想当PM的话).
一个在Arcadia工作一年(如果是fresh后一年)成为PM, 不论其technical skill怎样,这
个人的people skill就很不错,能忽悠住自己的老板上司这也是本事.
