Collector: ERC
Original creditor: 11 AT T
打电话给ERC，给了自己的信息，完全查不到任何collection.
让我打电话给ATT，所有账户都没有欠钱。
打电话给Transunion，直接给dispute了，但是拒绝给ERC的account #.
再次打给ERC，还是查不到. 要account #
Transunion因为已经under dispute了，上网拿不到free report，还是拿不到ERC的
account#.
教训是先不要dispute，先上网要free credit report，看到ERC的account #.
至少这样可以跟ERC问一下什么情况。
能看到的信息是Account open date: 12/08/2016 我那天还真打电话取消了一个AT&T
账户，但是今天打电话确认过了，那个账户还有40多的credit，完全没有欠钱。
现在是不是也只能等dispute的结果了？十几年了没有出现过这种问题。

发帖数: 1125 | 12 开会见过一次，印象还可以，不好不坏（比一般法国人感觉好点）。法国人push的很少
，但是这个因人而异，很难说
至于实验室氛围这个你得打听他们所里的人了，试试研究所网页，看看有没有中国人名
字，有的话发个邮件吧。
那所在villejuif吧，算巴黎近郊，进城挺方便，周围租房貌似价格也比较公道，我觉
得挺好一地方。
ERC advanced grant我们老板也是，不过工资标准应该是比齐当地（法国博后标准的）
，也就是CNRS/INSERM标准，大概税后2000euro/month 出头吧我记得。我们实验室
postdoc都是自己申fellowship的（EMBO/Marie Curie/FEBS)，实在申不到了再从ERC
里面出钱。 事实上我们实验室的ERC主要是来养phd了（phd没啥fellowship)。
具体有关法国的科研体系和细节你去问 Dua吧，她在法国读得博士，详情比我肯定清楚
多了。。 |

还有诺贝尔奖申请ERC被拒的呢，不代表ERC的水平就比诺贝尔高。

不过对于你举的例子，在下有点不同意见。
intl的sandy bridge耐用度问题，很明显的是erc的错误，那是设计上的疏失，估计是
把thin-oxide接上了IO power造成的问题，修改也自然容易些，work around tape out
metal variant自然可以解决。实质上跟fab工艺的优劣是无关的。
nvda的过热问题，我认为也是类似的问题，除了芯片本身过热之外，有可能也有erc的
问题，但是不似intel那般严重，所以一段时间之后才爆发了问题出来。也有可能是没
有很认真的进行高温，湿度，voltage的测试就出货给下游厂商，这对一家已经成功十
年的fabless厂来讲，感觉上多半是疏忽所导致的。硬要拿此事来指摘台积电，似乎也
不是那么公道。
记得出问题的芯片是8600 or 8800，nvda硬是用90nm(or 65mn?）造出了高耗能的芯片
，同样的设计（细部或许有些不同）nvda随即改用更高的工艺(65 or 45nm?)出货就没
问题了。在下当初也是著了道买了一张旧工艺版的8800，工作温度始终在90度c左右徘

和 bob weinberg 各自独立地同时发现 cellular oncogene， 诺奖边缘人物啊。
另外一个重要成就就是创立 CNIO，这个地方现在是欧洲做cancer research 最
活跃的地方， 只有500人的规模，但是有5个PI是 ERC Advance grant 获得者。
（ERC Advance grant 基本就是欧洲最牛的那批人才拿得到）
CNIO创立时间比我国的 NIBS 稍早， 也都是各自旅美生物医学最顶尖的人回国
创立研究机构，但是我觉得在学术界的 impact ， CNIO 比NIBS 要好很多， 虽然
NIBS在国家经费支持上比 CNIO 应该要充足很多。 |

也不贵啊...毕竟规模很小，也就是20个组左右，另外由于实验楼很小，每个组人数有
限，基本没有超过12个人的组
此外欧洲的话postdoc几乎都是有自己的fellowship的，基本能cover工资的一大半，老
板需要付出的部分很少，
博士的工资相比北美虽然很高，但也可以申请不少企业的奖学金，最后摊到老板身上也
没多少。
然后由于FMI的标准很高，招来的老板自己拿钱的能力也很强，ERC的grant5年杰出青年
年1百多万欧元，advanced investigator2百多万欧元，FMI的老板基本一大半能申请到
ERC grant。另外瑞士国家基金委也非常有钱，项目也很多2年／3年 70-80万瑞士法郎
的，申请到的难度对FMI的PI大多也很easy.

昨天去屯子里的一个小学3年级到5年级的数学竞赛当志愿者，被分配到当监考老师，监
考一个4年纪的group test。
这个小型的数学竞赛（ERC）是在HISD举行的，不怎么出名，但是参加的学校倒是不少
，一共有5百多学生报名参加。一般是那个学校一个年级选5个学生分别参加集体赛和个
人赛。我想既然是数学竞赛，怎么也该有点难度吧。当我拿到考试题时，不由得一晕！
考题一共就三题，都是文字题，外加图画。要求半个小时完成，三道题，如下（大意）：
1.公园两个自行车架，每个有8个空格（如图），请问可以放多少辆自行车？
2.学校有三个自行车架，每个有12个空格，如果其中一个全部放满，另外两个只是放1/
2，请问放了多少辆自行车？
3.如果全部都放满自行车，学校比公园可以多放多少辆自行车？（要讲为什么）

如果去德国就是洪堡，去其它地方就是居里，这两个目前都是15-20%。
难度大些的是ERC starting grant和洪堡索菲亚，这两个也是一个级别的，5-10%。 |
